Arkos — Restaurant in Šiauliai

Giving 2 stars only from symphaty for waitress. She seemed lovely and did her best, however kitchen did the worst. Duck was not even close to what a duck meal should be. Apple/pear garnish and french potatoes and cranberry sauce sounds beautiful but the meal was something scrapped from salad bar leftovers. Duck was pre-cut, same as you get on a salad, nothing like a main meal. Price for quality and meal itself is out of the moon. Really unpleasant experience. Advice for owners/chefs - if you cant make some dishes just take it off your menu. Menu is more than 10 pages. That was my own fault chosing this place, that I understand. But would not ever recomend anyone to come here. Also - no alternative...

Location interior and dishes are good. Maybe food is weakest of three. But what should be strongly noted is a terrible service. I can understand that it might be slow. However smile and pleasant behaviour for waitresses is a must. This is perhaps only one restaurant of such level with that attitude in Siauliai. So first time I got something like smile from personal when the evening was done and it came to tips. Any way food is quite cheap, so if you are not affraid cold as Lithuanian summer waitresses, that's descent place to go. Don't forget patience...

In 2019 in this restaurant we celebrated anniversary. During the weekends restaurant orders live music. Music is exceptionally lithuanian however crowd likes it. For the main dish we ordered beef steaks. It was really tasty. Other additional cold food which we ordered wasn't as good as steak.
