I visited Taste Boutique 8th November 3pm as part of the gastronomy week as single diner.
I have only good things to say about my experience. Which i will summarise.
The tasting menu is what i opted for (Gastronomy week in Lithuania). It was 4 courses with wine pairing for EUR 78 which i felt was very fair. The food was nicely presented and i felt was cooked / assembled nicely. Each glass of wine was delicious and complimented each dish perfectly.
The service was brilliant. My server (i didn't catch his name but he had dark hair) looked after me. He was attentive and explained each dish and wine to me in English well as i'm not Lithuanian.I think he was nervous because maybe he thought i was a food critic!
The restaurant itself i agree with other reviewers that it is perhaps a little outdated and could do with a refresh, however this did not affect my experience.
My only comment to management is maybe have more staff to help. There were only 2 waiters there Saturday 3pm, they worked hard and moved very quick. But i think during a full house or an evening service i can imagine they both would be very stressed. Allow more time for your waiters to be able to speak to the diners. My waiter took some time to speak to me and felt he was was very personable and genuine, which adds to the experience, hence why i left a tip.
I will return again to Taste Boutique because i enjoyed it there, i hope to see the same waiter there...
Read moreWe had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The food was amazing and looked like a piece of art, with attention to every detail. We loved the wide selection of tartars. The steak and duck breast were cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided great service throughout our visit.
While the environment was a bit interesting, it didn't detract from our overall experience. We came to eat and enjoy the food, which was the main focus of our visit. The desserts were also amazing and provided the perfect end to a fantastic meal.
Overall, I highly recommend the Taste Boutique restaurant. The exceptional cuisine, attention to detail, and friendly service made for a truly memorable...
Read moreMy best dining experience in Vilnius so far. The location is a bit hard to find- not in the touristy part of Vilnius and the decor is pretty simple. But the food and service was outstanding- the fine dining at its best! I think our server was one of the 3 owners - friendly, knowledgeable, down to earth! He suggested the dishes and wine - everything was perfect! Their tuna and beef tartares are so complex, delish and beautifully presented. The lamb was super tender and juicy! To dinner was topped off with a superb Rasberry tartare- I had no idea you can make a berry tartare! Pricing is very reasonable, too. An absolute...
