Food 4/5 Service 0/5
First time dining in this restaurant, and I'm not sure if I'll give it another chance. Atmosphere was pretty nice and interesting, we've been seated in a fully carpeted room, where we had to take off our shoes and sit on the pillows (which is not a negative thing, we did find it pretty unique and interesting).
Waitress came to us 1 minute after handing us our menus, and since we were not ready to order yet, she left and forgot us for the next 23 minutes.
After finally ordering our starters and drinks, they came relatively fast and we were pretty happy with them. We did not have to wait long for our mains either, however one of us was really unhappy with the received dish. Once we've mentioned that to our waitress, she made sure that her rudeness would not go unnoticed by stating that it's not her problem and nobody forced us to order what we've ordered. In order to ensure that we were not misunderstood, we highligted the fact that we enjoyed most of the other dishes we've received, it was just that particular dish that was inedible (it wasn't a matter of taste, since we've all tasted the dish and agreed that something must be off as it cannot be so disgusting by recipe). The waitress once again, did not even try to change her attitude and said that she cannot control what we like and what we don't, and that we chose that dish ourselves. Makes you wonder if she ever tries food she never had before, or sticks to the same meal everyday to ensure that she definitely likes it. 🙄
The worst part was definitely the tone and the attitude of that waitress. All she had to do was to at least apologise and maybe suggest a complimentary starter so that one of our friends would not have to leave the restaurant hungry. Instead she ensured to ruin the mood of our group, which lead to us not ordering any more drinks or deserts.
I normally never write bad reviews and give restaurants 2nd and 3rd chances, but I've never experienced such a bad and rude attitude from a server before. Too bad I didn't catch her name, as if I'm ever coming to this place again, I would like to ensure that it's...
Read moreThe prices are obviously high and judging by them I imagined I would be paying not only for the food, but for the service as well. Obviously, service is not worth it. I waited to be seated for 15 minutes, which would be fine by me, since it was Friday evening. However waiters were purposely ignoring me. Which at first didn’t bother me too much, because it’s understandable they will be tired after a long shift. When I finally got greeted servers “Hello” sounded like it was followed by a question mark. More like “Are you lost?” than a greeting. Didn’t help the fact that she didn’t lead me to the table and just stared at me with an expression that can only be described as an “annoyed teacher who gave up on you”. I had to specifically request a table, if it wasn’t already obvious that a person standing before the “wait to be seated” sign is waiting to be seated. The lack of hospitality and arrogance right away threw me off a bit, but I decided not to be too judgemental and see what else they’ve got. When I was lead to the table, I noticed that there were at least 3 free tables, so why the 15 minute wait? Each time a server came by it was a different one which would be fine if not for their attitude. I paid right away, because I really had no intention of staying there any longer. The cherry on top was servers standing around the bar and ignoring me every time I tried to get their attention to get a box for the food I didn’t finish. I wasn’t about to be rude and snap my fingers or whistle at them to come by, yet the way they avoided eye contact and turned away quickly clearly showed how unwelcome there I was. Kuksi with shrimp had no shrimp in it, but the chicken was soft and tender even...
Read moreI have been here today with 4 other friends. It started nice and we had starters and mains, and drinks. We were all happy or fairly happy with everything, except one of my friend, whose main had a really strong odd taste of liquorice. He couldn't eat it, just cause of how bad it was, and we all tried it and agreed with him. When the waitress came we told her about the main and asked if it could be taken out of the bill. She was nice and said she'll inform the kitchen. Then the manager (we think) came and straight away started arguing with us. Her opening was 'I heard you didn't like your meal, that's not our problem'. And that was that. We tried to explain that something was wrong with this one dish, but she didn't even want to hear it and just dismissed us with "it was your choice", "it's a matter of taste", all in a very rude attitude whilst cleaning up the table. Honestly, if they simply apologised and explained that they couldn't take it out of our bill for whatever reason, we would have been fine. What we are not fine with is being treated so rudely for bringing up that something's wrong with one meal, especially when we ordered so much food and were happy with everything else, which we also mentioned. No exaggeration, they did not say "sorry", not even once, only that it's...
