Careless and helpless management and table service. - 1 star is far too much.
Valentine's day at this place basically did exist. Well, at least for me and my husband. We booked online a one day before and specified... It should be nice. At arrival we were send to the up part because it was fully booked, without further explanation. Since we were not happy with the zero info we got, I decided to go and ask the reception/manager (whatever it is challed like). Finally the 2 a gentleman? and a lady? ( managers? Or whatever one calls it like), explained (not in a nice way), that the tables were we would like were give to more that 2 persons as they are bigger - fair enough. The place we were placed on had nothing to do with valentine's, really not even a basic ambience. The service there was poor. When we were leaving we asked for our jackets, this gentleman (a manager or whatever it is called like), told us gey it as he had no idea what belonged to and that he was too busy - he just left as there ( by then most of the tables were empty) Spoke then with this lady (manager? or whatever it was called like) was also even unable to apologise...    Read moreWe have come here before and it was always fine, but today when it was a special occasion, which we informed the restaurant when we made the reservation, the service was very poor. They took a while for the order to arrive, the meat arrived but they didnât ask how we wanted cooked and brought it almost raw, we had to send it back. Then they forgot the sides, we had to remind them which is fine happens, but they when it came to clearing the table they took away just the plate leaving the rest (oil, bread, small plates, salt pepper and other bit). The table was full of bread crumbs. We were waiting for the desert which was the birthday cake of my mother in law, and I asked them to clean the table from the crumbs to which the waiter rudely responded â you made this mess and we do not clean tables mid service and walked offâ. This was unacceptable, my partner had to move the oils and small plates him self from the table so when they brought the cake table looked half decent. It was a very unpleasant experience this Sunday and I am not sure what happen to the quality of their service, but I hope they can improve it again as I used to...
   Read moreThe atmosphere is really nice as most of the people before me, already noted. Alas the food and the service⊠my steak was far from the âa pointâ I ordered. (Cf. Photo) and batteling my social anxiety, oh so bravely, I asked the waiter to exchange it. He promptly took it away, but was back with it just mere seconds later to reveal that the light had played tricks on my eyes and that the steak was in fact âa pointâ (still very debatable). Having run out of my steam by then I let it goâŠstill disappointed by my 36⏠at best medium to medium well Entre CĂŽte! The sauce 3 poivre was already splitting, when it arrived to the table, resulting in a trickle of oil and fathitting the steak first, before the not so hot sauce⊠The fries are a good cut and have a nice crunch, but salt would suffice and experiments with paprika and other spices, might not be to everyones taste.
The waiter was slow, but friendly,even though the hands on the shoulders multiple times might not be for everyone (see again social anxiety)
Overall I think that the restaurant has a lot of potential, but should definetely work on...
