Grubers — Restaurant in Esch-sur-Alzette

As others have mentioned a little on the pricey side but I find the food tasty enough and keep going there frequently. That being said as other have mentioned it's not something great. From my perspective and given the price point of the menu it is just ok. I work at the business centre and some of my colleagues seem to favour the place so it's become something of a hangout place for us. Objectively speaking, there are better places to spend your money on. As others have mentioned the staff are not always very polite. I've found the younger staff members customer oriented and pleasant but the older ones are sometimes borderline rude. Okay so i’ve made a review 2 years ago where I gave 4 stars because the food was really good. Now the place got renovated and I feel like something went downhill? I’ve been coming here to eat for 2 years and I’ve never had a single complaint except for the price but this is my first time trying since the renovation and I’m sorry but why am I paying 6.50€ for 5x chicken nuggets that are smaller than McDonalds nuggets? I’ve attached pictures about it. I’ve always loved the food here and I’ve never had anything to complain about but I feel like the food gets smaller and smaller over the years and it’s ridiculous to pay 6.50€ for such small nuggets. Better than average burgers. You don't get different names like double bacon burger or BBQ burger, instead you choose your burger rub like pepper, truffle or original for e.g then choose extras like bacon, mushrooms etc. It's a little different from the norm and works well. Spend less time deliberating over the menu!

The fries are like waffle fries and really good. Actually some of the best I've had in a long time. Anywhere! You can also opt for an extra pot of nacho cheese with them, which was ok.
