Was looking for porridge near cheras and this came up google suggestions. Walk in for dinner at 7pm half full by the time we left it was full with family & cry baby. Typical chinese restaurant marble tables. Look abit dark as i was expecting bright yellow shop from the google pictures.

Porridge menu simple to fancy oyster scallop century egg porridge that you can select in 3 sizes.

I order best seller mix parts pork porridge medium for 2 pax. Generous ingredients including pig blood and crispy fried intestine. Minced pork ball & slices of pork. Porridge is thick & creamy. Condiments on the table add soy, pepper & sesame oil taste even better. All served in clay pot to keep porridge warm.

Homemade fried tofu serve with thai sweet chilly. Tofu have umami seafood taste like you get at atas restaurant.

Drinks I order lemongrass and it came with melon slices, taste authentic homemade & refreshing. Soya cincau also good alot of cincau. Then i look around the shop they make huge jars of fermented salt lime, should have order that drink.

Price above your average cafe but you get generous ingredients & restaurant quality.

Service speed ok acceptable for what looks like a 1 leg kick tauke

I think i will go back to try other food.

First and last visit to this place. Taboo goongpo chicken @RM16.90 + RM0.40 for the smallest plastic container. Never expect such smallest container (height of the container is just 3cm) for takeaway with hardly 4 small pieces of which I don't know whether I can name it chicken pieces. You would be surprise with how many type of porridge available.

The price is quite reasonable.

It come with small, medium and large size. Do take note that form medium and large size onwards are recommended to share with other as it is quite large portion.
