The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. Springy skin and pinkish meat. One of the Best Hainanese chicken I have tried, as good as Nam Heong if not better. Rice and soup are also good, but not as good as Nam Heong. The chicken soy sauce was a bit too heavy flavour, and also too dark, drawing away the flavour of the chicken. Minced ginger was lack of flavour(why is it green colour?) It’s the closest to Nam Heong Chicken rice shop that I have tried. Priced around 2/3 of Nam Heong. 4-star!

Finally found a chicken rice shop that operates after lunch time as many closes before 3pm. So there's no rush if you are seeking for late lunch. The owner is really friendly and provide good service. Food serves up really fast. I like that the hainanese chicken has really yellow skin, the rice is fragrance as well. If the chicken was smooth, it would definitely be a 5 star for me. The chicken rice and 1 cold tea itself total cost me about rm12; very reasonable and good lunch.

i enjoy the kampung chicken rice here as the chicken is very tasty. oil rice is also really fragrant. chili sauce for chicken is thick. bkt soup is rich but the meat is a little too tender for my liking. overall very good.
