1 Chopati Keramat-Setiawangsa — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

From what i ordered, the food is good. I would recommend it especially the chapati. But i give 2 star due to: 1) the customer experience can be improved. I sat about 2 mins but the staff not noticing me even when i raise my hand and call showing the gesture to take order, the staff just showing back a gesture saying "in a minute... in a minute". Then another customer coming and sat at one of the table and the the staff go entertain them first instead of me who arrive earlier 2) i can see there's 2 wifi ssid 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz but when i asked for the wifi password, the staff told that the wifi is not for public use. Oh come on, it is 2020 and i am your customer, wifi access at an eatery is considered a must nowadays. This is even located in KL. 3) no proper ventilation for the smoke coming from the cooking - no exhaust fan. So the restaurant sometimes get foggy. 4) the toilet is...

I have to say, their chapati and puri is the best I've ever had in a long time. Freshly prepared and served hot, together with their beef keema, it was a nice dinner. I had the set of puri and chapati together. Their beef keema was very tasty. Really goes well together with chapati and puri as well. I ordered their drink Air Timba, it's like Assam boi mixed with lemon and other stuff. It's nice and refreshing drink. Place is clean, staff was nice and attentive as well.

Spent about RM30 with drinks, overall very satisfied and I would come again if they consistently make the chapati and puri like what I ate recently....

The restaurant main menu is chapati but they also served other type of roti. My favourite was the poori, well prepared and the bread was soft and fluffy, best dipped with sardin sauce, Awesone. Their roti is suitable for all time meals ie breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner and supper. The restaurant was well maintained, clean,furnished with simplicity and minimallist. Loved the mural painting of the owner’s late parent who i had the opportunity to met many years ago at Pasar Keramat. Restaurant is easily accessible via Lrt Setiawangsa Station.
