Being patronising this restaurant for 15 years. Every meal was superb. The the reason we keep coming back. It was 2/3 full when we arrived and managed to final a table for 4. Menu has changed. Guess it had been a while since my last visit due to the pandemic. You can scan the QR code to place your order. We call for the owner whom we knew to place our order. Dishes came a bit late as compare to previous standard. Signature fried rice with ebico was not fragrance like it use to. Pumpkin tofu came in small square shape. It used to come in a big round shape previously. Salted egg squid ring was rushly prepared by the look and lack the salty egg flavour. The stir fried vege tasted sticky and not crunchy. The only food standard maintaines was the fruit joice pork ribs. Overall standard has dropped. Take note that diners have to get their own utensil now. We were told when we requested fo it.No signage was put up to educate diners. Nor was their signage at the location to refill the tea pot. One of the diners sitting behind our table was vaping inside the restaurant. We will wait for a while before we go back again for our next meal.

Came back because outstation relative came visit and wanted to eat the fried ebico rice. We struggle QR order. Ask the counter lady help she just berated the menu and walk away. The fried rice no more medium or large size but order and charge according to pax. 1 pax is RM22. We ordered 3pax for 6 person dost RM36. The rest vege, meat, agg and tofu normal. Using QR we still need to pay for 10% service tax on top of 6% sst.

On our own will not come back. Don't have the welcome...

We visited the restaurant on a public holiday and appreciated that it was open. However, our experience was quite disappointing. Many of the dishes we wanted to order were unavailable, which was frustrating.

Ordering is now done through a phone-based system instead of directly with staff, which made the process confusing—especially since the system didn’t clearly indicate which items were out of stock. We spent a lot of time browsing the menu, only to find out that many options couldn’t be ordered.

The food also took a long time to arrive—so long that we had almost forgotten what we had ordered, and the food was just normal too.

Additionally, the tilapia fish we ordered was surprisingly small for a group of 10 people. It seemed like the portion wasn’t properly estimated based on the number of guests, which left us feeling a bit short-changed.

The service from the staffs were great, but unfortunately overall it wasn’t the dining experience we...

We had our dinner here and find it a cozy and comfortable venue for our CNY dinner among family and extended families of 15 on a super size table which not many restaurants are prepared for. The ambience is soothing comparable to that of a 4 star restaurant although it is hidden from sight at the not so fashionable 6th mile Cheras area. The food of special mention are steamed grouper fish and chicken, chopped into nice rectangular cubes, in light soy sauce. The other dishes we had were dark sauced deep fried prawns, salted egg yolk sotong, sweet and sour pork, braised knuckle, lotus and assortment of mushrooms and broccoli with bean curd rounding off with the ubiquitous waxed glutinous rice and yee sang (opening dish). With a bit of clever tweaking of set CNY menu, which they allowed, our bill came up to a reasonable amount much to our satisfaction. Kudos to the management for the nice ambience, good customer service and...
