I spent RM24.50 on drinks and no food. Initially, we ordered for takeaway. Special fried rice and fried chicken. We walked in to the counter & a lady said since we don't have reservations, they can't serve us. There were empty tables inside and outside. So we asked if we asked another staff if we could sit outside. He said yes. So, yeay, I was excited. Then the server dumped the menu on the table & he made sure to say "crab finish" and walked away. A couple arrived after we ordered. Surprise, surprise they got their order first & one of their dishes was a big fat crab. Another man waiting next to our table got his takeaway too. When we told our waiter, he said "everyone inside has not ordered too". Um what? Don't you keep tabs on your customers and their orders? Then this sassy waiter returns saying "you order fried chicken kan? Ah! Ten more minutes". Dude, we've been waiting for 30 minutes. I think I really wouldn't have left in such a foul mood if your waiter was so much more pleasant. He gave us an attitude like a teenage girl. After all that waiting, we paid for our coconut drinks (which were good, to be fair). I'm sure Fatty Crabs has good food which I have yet to try. The only thing that is a real turn off is how incompetent, defensive and rude your staff are. Your staff need training before they can...
Read moreThe best crab in town! We came early around 5.30pm and we had the place all for ourselves. Parking is easy. The place is spacious for patrons. We ordered Portuguese style mud crab, salted egg squid, kam heong lala, omelet, yong chow fried rice, pineapple fried rice and man tou. The Portuguese mud crab is their specialty and my new favorite. It tastes like curry, buttery, with thick creamy savoury broth that is so good to go with the man tou. Man tou is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside like cotton candy. Salted egg squid is good but for me quite salty. Lala kam heong not the best I've tasted. Serving of both fried rice are huge, you can eat 1 small plate for 2-3 people. All in with drinks, the price is RM202 which is fair for me. Will...
Read moreSister from Ireland ordered Sweet & Sour Crab for mom age 70 in Puchong. The dish was delicious. The crab tasted fresh and flavorful. Ordered again , this time, three crab dishes. Kam Heong Crab, Sweet & Sour Crab and Creamy Salted Egg Crab. SOMETHING WAS VERY WRONG. THE SWEET & SOUR CRAB WAS NOT FRESH IT MUST HAVE GOTTEN BAD. The crab meat flavor was bad, the taste was absolutely weird !. Especially for us & mom ( been tasting and consuming crab meat for decades). We threw the dish away immediately. This is exactly why our country cannot mature in online purchases. It is this kind of unethical greedy restaurant owners who can never...
