If this newer cafe was to compared with its original, then it's a far cry but given the location and the availability if space, then one can't honestly compare with it's original shop. It extruded less by way of ambience and feel. Service was prompt and detailed . However the food I had was a far cry in quality to the one I had at jln panggong . I have 2 plates of Chee Cheong fun but this time it lacked the complimentary sauces. The next item I had which had a recommended star on its menu was a complete turnoff, so to speak, I had a bowl of Assam laksa it lacked a tanginess with the fish soup. My friend had the nasi lemak ayam and the other a nasi sotong which they given a so so value to theirs. Overall the bill was as expected, as with any cafe style joint. Honestly , I would suggest to try out the shop at jln panggong 1st. The rest is up to you to present a verdict of your choice . Lastly their drinks, cafe styled coffee and tea was alright without being too sweet or flavorless but their nescafe ice was average, non the better given the reputation it has gained todate . Overall I'm giving at the most 3 stars while its original place had a 4 stars quality . Please take note the jln panggong has a more elderly clienteles while the branch at panda indah has more of the millennials. The choice I rest with you . I would had preferred their cafe at jln...

Toast bread is burnt a little already, but it's still not crunchy.. It seems like the ppl who made this is in a hurry.. didn't put much effort in making the food.
The 流沙包 (or the yellow bun w/ flowin paste in it) The taste is always just okay, So-so..
The flowing paste should be more paste-like texture.. But instead it's watery, it's not nice at All.
The quality of the food there, is just not up to standards. No, I don't even need to talk about the standard because they don't have any.
SKILL ISSUE
The service is bad. The foreign workers Don't even come to serve us when we came into the cafe and sat down..
We have to call out for them to give us the menu and order... 😑
The cleanliness is not really okay, as one can see the way how the foreign workers do their tasks.
In conclusion, the only thing that gave that 1 star is the designs, decorations and amount of plants they have on the outside. However, don't judge the book by its cover.
The outside may look extremely beautiful, but whatever that's inside says the opposite.
PS: I hope the customer service could be improved, as well as the quality of...
Read moreUpgraded kopitiam to cafe ambient. Main shop at Petaling Street area. A lot of effort to recreate the 60' look. A little warm despite air cond and fan. QR to order but hardcopy menu also available upon request. Drinks came first. So so. Then steam bun with seperate butter and kaya. Bun warm and soft. Kaya too sweet. Better if more coconut milk added. Half boil egg not hot but cooked just right. Fried kuew Teow below average. Malaikoh could be better as it is a bit bland. Last to arrived is nasi lemak with fried chicken thigh. OK only. Overall normal Chinese kopitiam standard but not stand out. Service fast and ample parking. Will come back if run out of place to go. Came back order nasi lemak classic or kosong. All ingredient good. Should cook the white rice with santan - fragrant. Yam cake total failure. Hainanese chicken chop ok. Prawn noddle surprisingly good - just too watery. Normal kopi ice better than the white coffee ice. Taste like 3 in 1. Came back 7.30am. All ok except siew mai came very...
