Mr Dakgalbi Melawati Mall — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

Most of the staff are foreigners, hence couldnt really assist customers request. This is the second time me and my family dine in, yet still the same mistake happened , which is forgetting something from the menu, when we address the issue to the waiter, they said they'll go and prepare it but we had to wait for 30 minutes for that (mind you it's not a full house at all) . Then the worst thing happened to me which is i got a sore throat that turned to a flu later on, all this is from THE ICE that this restaurant gave. I ordered a K-ADE drink and obviously it's not the K-ADE drink fauly since it is contained in a plastic that can only be opened by tearing the plastic. I have a sensitive throat where if i drink or consume something dirty/raw , i would get sore throat. From this i already new the ice are made from pipe water and not clean water. Made a reservation today, but was seated at Side Chicken PLUS with the assurance that we could still order from the Dakgalbi menu. When we tried to order, we were suddenly told it wasn’t possible because the cooking equipment was only available in another section.

To make things worse, the staff tried to mislead us, saying they would switch our table, only to admit—after being pressed—that the Dakgalbi section was actually full from the start.

Frustrated, we canceled our meal and chose to break our fast at the restaurant next door, which also serves Korean food—better service, more honest staff, and they actually appreciate their customers.

This happened today, and I hope Dakgalbi takes this as a wake-up call. Keep this up, and more customers will walk straight to your...

Nice environment. Similar to other Mr Dakgalbi branch. But strangely this branch doesn't provide free refillable ice water. They charge RM 1 for each cup of plain water which is not refillable.

Once, it was 6:50pm and the staff refuse to let me sit in front of the TV because it was a large table. Ridiculous considering the place is totally empty save for 1 other group. End up sitting at the corner 🤦‍♂️ no brain....

Such a shame, the food is nice but the horrible service here makes me prefer the branch in pv128 which provides free refillable water.
