BEST CAFE IN Kl 2022! Everything we ate was mind-blowing. From breakfast, to mains to desserts, to coffee, to latte art, to extremely welcoming and friendly service. The food is nothing you can hate.
Buttermilk Chicken Rice My brotherâs favourite dish here, hands down.
Rendang Good. Very impressive.
Salmon SOSO GOOD, tender, juicy, perfectly cooked and still moist on the inside with crispy skin like a crust. Cutleries are good too! The salmon is pink and orange and tasted fresh. Sauce could be thinner but I mean, itâs perfect! The portion is extremely generous, I struggled to finish but shared to finish it.
Big Breakfast Not bad! The combination on the platter is 10/10 for variety, presentation, colours and portions. Not often I get more bread than I want cause I LOVE BREAD. So this was 100!! We enjoyed sharing this. Eggs were well-cooked. Baked beans could be improved. Still, overall good.
Signature Chicken Chop Definitely signature was the best choice for chicken chop. We loved it. The grill was beautiful and nicely cooked. The meat is juicy, oily and tender and meaty. And was not too tough/overly cooked. It is not overly salted. Nothing is. (BEST EVER) !!!! Mash was really really delicious, sautĂŠed vegetables has good variety, flavours and nutrition.
DESSERTS must try Pandan Waffle omg their signature is WORTH the signature and a symbol of their name - PANDAN DREAM (cafe) - so fluffy, crispy, good, crunchy outside, molten and chewy inside. Pandan flavours mixed with eggy and milky batter of the waffles (I LOVEEEE THIS) and filled in the gaps with soft flowy pandan molten lava melting into the hot waffles. SLAB a BIGGGG slab of durian puree on top and I was sent to heaven and my pandan dream. As non durian fans, I converted into a durian fan that one mouth, because the taste is masked off when balanced with pandan and waffle and absorbed INTO the waffle. CRUNCHY AF.
Strawberry Cheesecake WORTH ORDERING. I dont even like cheesecakes but because this was SO THICK, RICH, CREAMY, CHEESY, FAT, I loved it. It was not overly sweet, not jelak and very very easy to eat! Indulgent but hell yeah #worththecalories ALLL THE CALORIES for me please! Thank you :)
DRINKS: Americano Okok coffee. I just WISH Pandan Dream gets better coffee beans and I will never leave Pandan Dream ever.
Hot Latte Good stuff, BEAUTIFUL insta worthy latte art. Kudos to baristas!
Water Good and refreshing.
Canât wait to try other drinks especially pandan drinks.
Everything is very palatable, very delicious, very balanced which I loved. The food feels healthy. = guilt free cafe!! Well-cooked, well presented. Tastes are infused with Malaysian flavours and tastes, is the epitome of Malaysian cafe. BEST!
We visited 3 times in 5 days and going back again this weekend and surely more visits to come. We hope to try every item on the menu. And WE HOPE YOU VISIT THEM. Service was impeccable, I felt so welcomed and at home. I loved the vibes, ambience and jazz.
Thank you so much for having us Pandan...

The one caught my eye the most is this Sourdough toast with seaweed butter. The toast is crunchy, not too chewy with a hefty crust. can see got like grains & pumpkin seed or something. Very nice. It adds to the overall texture.
Chewing all that, with that multitude of texture & crunch, With this seaweed butter in ur mouth, in such an amazing feel. The butter is not too soft, slightly salty & umami, with seaweeds bits in it. It's real good. Unique & interesting. This alone worth a trip here. My mind goes all over the place, thinking what i can do with this butter (put on top of steak, smother it on sourdough croutons etc etc) . If only can just buy the butter itself đ. At rm15, it feels cheap considering how good it taste.
I got Pandan Latte for drinks. Its a pretty good latte with pandan syrup (i assume). It gives off pandan aroma when u drink it. Not too overpowering, cuz i think the bitterness of coffee still reign supreme. Make sure to stir la cuz the pandan syrup really stuck at the bottom đ . It's a unique take to local-style coffee over the usual, more common variations like gula melaka latte or spanish latte.
i got tapau some stuff. Got the lemongrass chicken rendang rice. Got 2 pieces of chicken, basically quarter ciken la. I guess that's ok for the rm22 price. The rendang pretty good, thick, heavy with spice, not spicy, but i guess i expect more lemongrass & ginger? Maybe I'm used to traditional style rendang. But still good la.
Next, Chicken grill with gravy It's very good! The ciken grilled to perfection, not heavily seasoned, just taste charred & smoky. Which is ok cuz i presume u eat it with the gravy. If the chicken itself too salty then it might be too much when dip into the gravy. Even the mashed potato tasted smoky/grill-ish. Maybe cuz the gravy on the potato? Not sure, but very pleasant & delicious. The gravy itself also very good. Got some bits of black pepper, but not spicy or hot. Very savoury, thick & smooth. U would think this is normal but a good gravy is hard to find đ . So i really like this whole dish.
Lastly, got cakes. The Onde onde cake quite good. Instead of the usual pandan cake + gula melaka icing, this is flipped, with gula melaka cake + pandan icing. And it taste very very pandan-ey. Very good, if u like pandan la.
The chocolate mousse cake also good. The chocolate icing aint too sweet. The chocolate cake taste like those usual "kek cokelat moist", in a good way. This is a praiseđ . It's a familiar taste.
That's all guess. I really like this place so please do give it a try if u guys in the area đ. Excellent food with great...
Read moreNestled in Taman Melawati, Pandan Dream Cafe recently swung open its doors, showcasing a blend of Western and Asian delights.
First Dive In: On my debut visit, I went with the Lamb Chop paired with Mashed Potatoes. Trading french fries for mashed? A delightful touch, culminating in an 8/10 culinary nod for both taste and portion. Meanwhile, Mum's Grilled Chicken Chop mirrored my scorecard, 8/10 again for taste and portion.
Service: Service that's not just efficient but also radiates warmth. The waiters, adorned with friendly smiles, ensure that your dining experience is coupled with genuine hospitality. And if you're wary about waiting, the prompt food arrival (though it seems contingent on crowd size) is a testament to their efficiency.
The Menu: The real scene-stealer? The menu. It's an impressive blend of West meets East, boasting a variety that doesnât overwhelm but tantalizes.
Dessert Decisions: But whatâs dinner without a sweet ending? We shared a Crème Brule. Now, Mum, with her British roots, is picky about her desserts. Yet, she couldn't resist giving it a thumbs up. A significant seal of approval if ever there was one.
Extra Delights: And if the main courses weren't enough to sway you, the counter teases with small whole cakes, and a particularly tempting giant croissant.
First Impression: A resounding endorsement from me. Pandan Dream Cafe scores not just in taste but in ambiance and service. A return? Inevitable. The allure of trying out other menu items beckons, not to mention those counter delights.
In essence, this cafe in Taman Melawati promises more than just a meal; it offers an experience. One that leaves a sweet aftertaste and a desire to come back. If you're around, make sure to take a detour to Pandan Dream Cafe. It's a dream...
