Nasi Kandar Deen Bistro — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

Always a place to go to here in Taman Melawati. Some may say its quite meh.

Truth be told, this place has been in Melawati for quite sometime. It may not be the best mamak (meaning food taste and price wise) but it is still a place to go as you will not get dissapointed.

Their Mee Goreng Mamak for me is good but only when the old guy cooks the food. If he is not there do not order it.

Their fried chicken I could say is the best as the crisp is as crispy as it looks, the juiciness of the chicken is great and the color is appetizing.

The nasi kandar, its the best in Melawati. The curry and spices is quite good, the gravy is not too watery and not to thick. The ayam bawang is good although it is a bit oily for me. Their daging hitam can sometimes be abit tough. Their ayam madu can be too sweet at times.

They do have rojak here, but for my preference the sauce is too sweet like Teh Tarik sweet so anyone who has a sweet tooth and may not prefer spicy rojak, here is an option.

The environment is systematic but it can get to packed sometimes especially during peak times. They have a card based system. At night tables will be layed out in front of the shoplot to fill in for more people.

They have Thai food at night, their naan is not bad, their Tandoori Chicken can sometimes be abit too dry but...

Heard from one of my friends saying this mamak restaurant is the best to eat if dunno where to have suppers and yess what she said is right😋😋Really nice to eat

So I have ordered the food below through Shopee Food and it costs me around 20 (+delivery fee 5 -shopee discount 10.50) ✅ Nasi Kandar Ayam Goreng + Sayur + Papadom I choose tambah nasi so no need to buy breakfast next morning. And love them for gimme a really big portion of rice. The nasi Kandar really tastes so good and definitely will reorder from u again (but next time maybe I would like to try the nasi briyani & naan, seems nice too) Good packaging: They packed Papadom separately and sealed nicely so it will maintain the crispness; and Ayam Goreng & gravies also put in a separate plastic bag.

✅ Murtabak Ayam I'm a fan of flatbread and love to eat different types of flatbread from different cultures. Murtabak is one of my favourites. It's satisfactory to have food u love and ppl rly cook it nicely. But they dun give curry or any gravies is a little bit sad larh, anyway still...

This shop does not even care about who is in queue line if a person came and direct cut line he will still get that queue. And when u wanted to get that order when u first arrived need to take allmost 15min to take an order and place is very dirty, i saw like the dustbin is very near the place they cook and very smelly until i as customer smell that stinks. I saw they put oil from the plastic bag is burn from the hot oil u cook the fried chiken, crazy people need to cut that using knife or scissor..

this by far the worst shop i ever arrived.. For you guys out there trying to this shop, i do not...
