Texas Chicken Bandar Baru Ampang — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

During Puasa period, I am in front of the counter, but no one serves me, although they (including the manager) see me. The manager just sat there, pretending nothing happened, while one of the staff members just got back to me. It took me about 3 minutes to wait for the staff to take my order. A moment later, one of the ladies (same race as the staff and manager) with her son came to the shop to place an order. The manager stood up and quickly took her order.

One day, I also got into this similar situation where the staff was just busy preparing the big order and made me wait for about 2–3 minutes. A moment later, one of the ladies (same race as the staff) with her family came to order; the staff just put down her work and quickly took the order.

I am very disappointed because I had expected the staff and manager to treat all customers fairly, but they did not.

Recently, my family ordered an à la carte meal, but after placing the initial order, we decided to change it to a set meal. This decision turned out to be costly. Despite waiting for 15-20 minutes, significantly longer than others who waited just 5 minutes, our meal arrived with disappointing quality. I've tried a lot of fried chickens locally and overseas but I always find Texas fried chicken always pleasantly delightful. When they first opened at Sunway Pyramid, I was hooked (made it a point if I'm in sunway pyramid, I will dine or take out here) 😘

The honey bun is simply irresistible. Then the southern Tea - whoa. Refills are free. Love it. 😍 Their fried chickens - there's a feeling of freshness in them. The batter is quite crunchy. Even their wraps are worth the try. They have Cajun element in them. Then comes the habanero, jalapeños, and all exotic flavors to create these unique dishes.

And now, Texas chicken has sprung all over Klang Valley. 😘👍🍗

Recently I dined at the Bandar Baru Ampang branch. The servers were really friendly, although they forgot to mention any ongoing promotions. I could have gotten a free ice cream and a discounted fried chicken if I would have known. Next time then.

This was my first bad experience at this outlet. Typically, the service is great, but today made me feel like I should never dine in there again.

To the overweight cashier wearing a grey uniform: 1. While we were discussing our order among ourselves and still unsure, you put in the order to the back. When you confirmed my order, I said I didn't want one of the items and you added it in forcing me to pay for it. 2. You raised your voice at me. 3. You were on your phone before, while, and after I was ordering (You were even doing it with others) . 4. You didn't provide me with utensils. 5. The dining area was filled with trays and there weren't even a lot of orders coming in to hinder you from cleaning.

I understand that working in F&B sucks, but if you are going to give horrible service and have a despicable attitude, I suggest you go be miserable...
