I don’t usually write reviews but i'm just very disappointed. The rate is based on the customer service. I REALLY think Tims need to train their waiters to wait the customers more professionally and friendlier. it’s just bad vibes. I don’t even know how to describe it. Maybe there’s no humble vibe from you guys? I don’t even know. Since 2017 until recently 2022, the vibe with the customer service is just not it. There’s just no personal touch, especially to your returning customers. You’re not only selling foods but also good services and experiences. Know who your customers are. Then learn how to serve them appropriately. Apparently, I’m not the only one who has issues with the customer service, there are more people i know who feel the same.
I will give credit when it’s due. I like most of their foods and desserts such as their fish and chips, lasagna, beef stew, scones but not all foods are nice, the sandwiches and pizzas were not delicious at all last time i ordered. I also like their hazelnut latte eventho it was full of ants last time i ordered but the waiter was nice enough to change to a new one. This is another issue that I don’t even want to begin dissect it. They were just no remorse in making mistakes. So bad. AND please serve the table properly, if you see two people sitting in one table, please give us two tissues instead of one. It’s annoying to be asking things that should’ve been served without the need to ask.
All in all, I don’t think i’m returning to this cafe unless i want myself indulge in bad vibes. I still can get delicious foods somewhere else with better customer services. You just lost loyal customers, my family members, my friends and more potential customers that i’d recommend but oh well. Keep up with the bad customer service if you want to keep losing customers. It’s sad to lose a cafe that I’d go to every time but oh...
Read moreTim’s Teapot Terrace is as charming as the name itself. Located in the suburb of Taman Melawati and on the less hectic side of the commercial area, Tim’s exterior beckons passersby for a look-see. Once you’re in though you’ll be instantly greeted with the hustle and bustle of a cozy and charming cafe.
As a server comes to direct you to your table you’ll walk past happy diners enjoying delicious looking food and cakes. There are 2 entrances to the cafe, one enters through the ‘restaurant’ side of the eatery and the other will have you come in through the ‘cafe’, which ever side you come in from doesn’t matter because you will still be making your order at the counter.
The ‘cafe’ side of Tim’s will have you salivating at the array of cakes they have on display and the tasty smell wafting from the plates of diners will make you excited to look through the menu. If you’re a tea person then their selection of Whittard tea will make you happy. If an English afternoon tea is what you’re looking for then you’re definitely in the right place.
Overall though this place is good for your tea/coffee and cake fix but they also have food such as lasagna, meatloaf, sandwiches, pies, and so much more if you feel like having a fuller meal. While the cafe may be a little bit on the compact side but because it exudes charm and the coziness of an English tea house, you won’t seem to mind it. However bear in mind that strollers may not be suitable inside the cafe but it shouldn’t deter you from frequenting Tim’s with your...
Read moreWent there to meet my friends. The cakes n food was nice. The service was good and fast. The place is very cozy n pretty. Full with tiny teapots that i think is very cute. I also like it coz they have clean toilets n a place to do my solah. Even though its in their office up stairs but still its comfortable. But not a fan of their machiato. And it can be a bit of a challenge to get a parking spot.
I finally checked this place out and I wasn't disappointed. They've got all my favourites here! Pavlova $8.90 (Chocolate or Original), Tim's Trifle $10.90 (less cream and add jello please) and the winner is their Pandan Gula Melaka cake $14, (strong Pandan aroma and rich gula (sugar) Melaka luscious filling topped with buttercream. I highly recommend my comfort food, meatballs in brown sauce with mashed potatoes ($16.90) I had a fresh- brewed black coffee $8.90...lacks a little in body and flavour..can be improved. But hey, I complained the same of Starbucks too. Must be the coffee beans nowadays. Service is 4.5/5. They also have comfy couch sofa seats at quiet corners and has WiFi, great for Girls day out!! To me this place is a breath of fresh air from the highly commercialized Secret Recipe.
Realllyyyyy cosy to hang out with friends. Wide range of cake choices. But I must say it is a bit pricey. I ordered beef lasagne it cost me about rm18 and the taste is quite dry. Overall its okay.
But overall, i would definitely recommend this place & i...
