Set in the Donggongon Township, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, is a little nice traditional coffee shop dinning place. It is at a quiet not so busy, not-very-easy-to-find location near the perimeter of Donggongon. Finding parking here at night is never a problem. It is a popular coffee shop patronised by some regular local residents.
I find this a place of choice to go for a tasty Chinese cuisine with the family or with friends. Shop is small with limited number of tables and so large-group dinning party would need to go earlier to ensure enough seats to be secured.
There is no printed menu for ordering but the captain taking orders (who is also the shop owner) will make suggestions/recommendations for some of their popular specialty dishes. Waiting time after placing of orders can be long (up to 30min or more) during busy time but in this case the captain will inform of the possible long wait after taking orders.
The dish prices are slighly more than the normal coffee shop dinning but I would say in terms of the quality of cooking served they are well worth the values. A good place to be recommended for those who fancy traditional Chinese cuisine...
