Aoki Japanese Restaurant stands out as one of the few Japanese dining spots in Miri. First time visit this place, craving Japanese cuisine because their prices are quite affordable compared to other Japanese restaurants in town. The food here is not only reasonably priced but also flavorful. We dined on Sunday night, and it was so packed that we had to wait to be sit at front desk before the seat is clear. It’s a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation. The sercing portions is small but fresh ingredients. One of the standout features is their attentive service, but still have to wait for 45 minutes, but its worth for the wait when you put the food into your mouth. The place is always bustling, so booking in advance is recommended to avoid long waits...

Staffs are friendly and they keep refilling your green tea to make sure what you drink is hot not cold. The rolls were delicious! We have ordered green spider maki and ebi mango maki ( it was my first time eating sushi with mango, not bad, but it definitely isn’t my fav) Dining vibe was great. The thing is, on the menu it didn’t state clearly what’s in the rolls, so people basically have to guess from the picture to see what’s in it. So please add more detailed information to the menu.

If you're on the hunt for delicious and affordable Japanese food in Miri, look no further than Aoki Japanese Restaurant! I recently visited this fantastic spot near Everrise at Boulevard that absolutely hit the mark.

I ordered the Oyakodon and a few side dishes, and everything was incredibly satisfying. The Oyakodon was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful – definitely a standout dish. What really impressed me were the side dishes; they were not only generous in portion but also incredibly fresh, adding a delightful complement to the meal.

Another huge plus? They offer free-flow green tea, which is always a welcome bonus for a Japanese meal.

Given the reasonable pricing, excellent food quality, and great taste at Aoki Japanese Restaurant, I'll definitely be back the next time a Japanese food craving...
