The Little Chef 小厨师 — Restaurant in Sarawak

Ordered mixed veggies (s), fried crispy cuttlefish (m), mei Cai ko rou (m), tomato egg (s) , 4 rice 🍚 , 3 drinks dinner for 3 adults and 1 six years old. Overall, we loved all the ordered menu. Tasty, seasoning just nice (not salty, not sweet), we were especially amazed with the mei Cai kou rou especially it wasnt too salty since it has the salted vegetables and even the taste from the mei Cai (salted veggie ) and the sauces. . The salted veggie feels like homemade salted veggie. We wanted to ordered midin but it was sold out, so end up ordering mixed veggies and I say the mixed veggies was cook nicely too. We love both the tomato egg and fried crispy cuttle fish (though the cuttlefish would taste better if it was added with tartar sauce).we will definitely put Little Chef in our place to dine when we go Miri again next time. This restaurant used to be my go-to in Miri, but sadly, the quality has gone downhill. The food was much better in the past, but now, every dish is overly salty, even the soup. I ordered the sea cucumber soup, but the sea cucumber pieces were so small they were barely noticeable, only lots of mushrooms.

To make matters worse, one of the waitress was dragging and banging chairs around, completely disregarding the fact that customers were still dining. She showed clear impatience, rolling her eyes and making people feel unwelcome, especially the short-haired waitress. Her attitude was rude and unprofessional, even the customer came after us left early seeing her banging chairs nearby. It was frustrating to the point that I almost lost my temper. Only the guy waiter showed good attitude and thank us when we left.
