Seven of us came here for dinner on a Thursday evening. Arrived 6pm+ already more than half-full, but there were still large tables available. The menu on Facebook and Instagram are outdated. Prices now significantly higher than before, the price increase is between 15-30%.
We ordered Salted Fish Eggplant, Deep Fried Organic Abalone Mushroom, Yam Ring, Signature Vege Fish Maw Soup, and Vegetarian Unagi. All dishes medium size, except for the Yam Ring which we ordered a large one. Additionally we also ordered a Fried Bee Hoon and a few bowls of rice.
Our favorite was the unagi, it was really tasty and we highly recommend it. The yam ring itself was excellent too, though I personally prefer it to have sweet sour pork inside (even if it's vegetarian meat). Such a good yam ring feels a bit wasted when filled with just vegetables. The eggplant is tasty and all pieces are tender. The fried mushroom is not bad too, though it does not stay crispy for long. Read moreI dare to say that it's The Best vegetarian shop in KK which serves economy rice (optional brown rice) from 11am till food last, fried stuff like yummy fried Tuaran noodle or seaweed fried rice and also food selection from the menu which includes eggs, tofu, and you can order the sweet and sour fish slice which is yum yum.The soup and plain water here is free. Btw, the daily free soup is so good👍🏻🌟 The kuih-muih and banana fritters here are fresh and delicious too which I will always order a few whenever I'm here. There's some healthy variety of bread and buns for you to choose here and also chiffon cakes and jelly for desserts and tea. All the food is simply delicious. A comfy place as there are aircons to counter the ever hot weather. It's a great place to eat lunch and dinner with yourself, your family, your friends, business partners and colleagues. Service here...
Read moreOne of the many vegetarian restaurants in KK area. I generally like this place as lunch items (economy rice style) have enough variety to not get bored even if you eat here everyday. The ala carte order items are somewhat of a hit or miss though depending on menu item. I rarely ordered off the menu as I usually come in during lunch or brunch for the economy rice.
Usually they have a selection of white or brown rice (brown at a higher price though) to go with your selection of dishes.
To be honest I'd rate this 3.5 stars, would have given it 4 but last night we come and ordered off the menu and like I said before, it was a bit of a hit and miss thing. They should improve on that part.
Edit: Forgot about toilet sink...
