Ah Khiong BBQ Kopitiam — Restaurant in Borneo

The best non halal @ BBQ pork dishes in this area. A decent place for breakfast and lunch. I love to drop here when traveling to the south of Borneo as I find that easier to look for parking within this area and one way to before reaching the airport if I'm coming from north of Sabah.

I would 4 star for their normal service but because their fast ordering and food arriving on time, I give them 5 star. This restaurant also sell herbal drink that good for lower down your body heat. Price is average. By 2pm their chicken rice is already sold out. They still have the normal white rice though.

I ordered 1 chicken rice, 1 char siu+chicken rice, 1 milo, 2 herbal drink and all total...

to be far, my comment only for the food I order, Im having Curry Soup Noodle with Cha Siew and Shao rou, the Curry soup taste....sweet, even the sambal is sweet,

But maybe im a high torelent for spicy food, so the furry here taste so so for me, or maybe (nothing racist) just chinese style of curry (which never really taste spicy).

The Cha Sao meat and Shao nyuk taste great.

However, the staff are efficient, fast respond to order and helps!!!!...

Rude staffs: Last time I didn't know there is no kolo mee after 12pm, there is no notice and the staff scold me for dunno about it. How do I know if I'm not a regular customer?

Today (4th January 2025), their staff mistaken my dad's order, yet they are the one who yell at my dad and slam the food on table.

They should train their staff about the manner first before servicing foods. No more next time for us to his lousy...
