I arrived at 12 pm for lunch. Parking was difficult to find because Coff is adjacent to a big food court and multiple car repair shops, which we know, secure at least 3 parking for their own use. The shop has 1 table occupied, and I opted for dine in. Seating was quite limited with a few small 2-seater tables and some sofa seated 4 at the back.
The menu was quite extensive with waffles and pasta and another page i forgot what was on it. I ordered the Coff breakfast and rose lychee soda water. The breakfast set was huge, with fresh scrambled egg, croissant, 2 slices of chicken slice, a hotdog, seared tomato potato and mushroom, and lettuce leaf with sesame dressing. I was impressed with the quality of everything. Croissant was fresh and big, and i usually compact my croissant before eating, and this is the first cafe i saw, with already compacted croissant🤣. I feel seen. That's exactly how i would prepare at home.
The rose lychee soda was refreshing and pretty with lychee on a bamboo skewer, rose petal scattered, and decorated with dried citrus and rosemary sprig. Talk about attention to detail.
Toilet is squeaky clean and hand soap and toilet tissue available. The barista and counter girls were busy with orders, but they didn't make that distract them from being attentive.
I would come again, but parking around lunchtime is challenging. I had to circle 4 times to find one car leaving. Furniture was hard wood with no armrest, so seating for quite a long time would not be so comfortable, but i would still come again for that breakfast set.
I only commented on what i pay attention to in visiting cafes. Other details might...
Read morebeef carbonara (rm16) (8/10) the price is so reasonable, and i would order this again. it tastes good, nothing special, but it’s not bad. the price is good too. portion is not too big but it’s not small either.
cheesy fries (rm9) (7/10) portion is average, and fries are just the basic frozen shoestring fries. the seasoning on it was great tho, but the cheese sauce is just the normal nacho cheese type of sauce. i personally don’t like that type of sauce, so i don’t think i’d get these fries again.
strawberry danish (rm7) (5/10) when i saw the price for this danish, i just knew i HAD to try it because this is the cheapest danish i’ve seen at cafes. one good thing is they reheat their pastries before serving with an oven. there is a custard type of cream between the pastry and the strawberries, which tasted alright, but there is too little of it. strawberries were very sour, so i think that’s why there is the custard-like cream to help lighten the sourness, but the amount of cream given is too little to help with anything. i wouldn’t get this again, given how sour the strawberries are.
overall, this cafe is worth a visit. the price range is good, with pastas being priced lower than rm20, and the pastries being priced reasonably too. the cakes are also at good prices, with most of them being priced at rm13. i’d give this cafe another visit to try their brunch items...
Read moreI’ve been eyeing this cafe for quite a while but never had the chance to try it. Finally decided to visit in the morning to explore their breakfast menu.
I ordered two big breakfasts and one benedict. The big breakfasts were incredibly delicious. I love how they use croissant instead of the usual bread. The mushroom, sausage, tomato, and salad were all seasoned really well. I’m not a salad lover but they made it taste amazing.
The benedict was great too. Creamy from the avocado and perfectly seasoned.
The drinks were also delicious. They had a nice balance—not too sweet and not bland. I especially liked the matcha because it had a smooth texture without any graininess.
The only downside was the drink size. It was quite small considering the price. Both drinks together cost almost RM 30, which feels pricey for the portion. I really hope they consider increasing the drink size a bit. That would make everything just right.
Definitely will come again whenever I’m craving a good big breakfast. Fingers crossed they make the drink portions a...
