Visited in March 2024 as part of a family outing. I used to love the venue for the quality of food, portion and taste.
Before I left kuching, I wanted something familiar so suggested we come here.
On the day, almost all our 6 dishes arrived before the rice. And we had to ask several times before rice was brought to our table. Probably they were busy/lacked servers.
The condition of the cauliflower was also questionable. It had black mould on it. So I don’t think they’re using the freshest/quality ingredients anymore. See attached photos.

Fried bee hoon (thin rice noodles) with tons of "hae bee" (little dried shrimps), the must have local midin (fiddle ferns) with garlic and belacan, the "mani chai" ( vegetable Sauropus androgynus, also known as sweet leaf, hence the name pucuk manis in malay) egg, butter shrimps, and "oh jian" oyster crispy pancake.
Everything was well-prepared, flavorful, and super fresh.

Read moreI booked a table for 5 for a 7pm dinner from our one hour trip elsewhere. Wanted to try a different restaurant. The place was crowded n noisy. However the service was good. The wait was not long - about 15 minutes. The roasted pork belly (m) we ordered was great. But the steamed fish, mixed vegy, butter chicken, sea cucumber soup ( m ) & brocolli with mushroom were bland. Also the price was almost double for the small sized (others not marked 'm') portion.
