If you're looking for a solid, no-fuss kopitiam experience in KK, Kedai Kopi Kim Hing Lee is definitely worth a visit. I came here recently and ordered their Wan Tan Ho Kuey Teow with Pork (Isi Daging Babi), and I’ve got to say—it hit the spot! The dish arrived piping hot with a generous portion. The Kuey Teow was silky smooth, not clumpy at all, and soaked up the flavorful egg gravy just right. The pork slices were tender and well-marinated—not dry or chewy like in some places. The wok hei (that smoky charred aroma) was clearly present, giving the dish an authentic taste that only seasoned cooks can deliver. The eggy gravy wasn’t too starchy or bland; it had a comforting balance of flavors with just the right thickness. What I liked too was the speed of service—despite it being a busy time, the food came out in under 10 minutes. The kopitiam itself has that classic old-school Sabah feel: open-air, buzzing with locals, and no frills. It’s clean enough, and tables turn fast, so you won’t have to wait too long for a seat even during peak hours. Prices are decent considering the portion size and taste. Honestly, this is the kind of place you keep coming back to because it delivers exactly what you expect—a good meal, fast, at a fair price. Would definitely recommend the Wan Tan Ho here. Next time, I might try their other noodle dishes too!

My mom love to stop by this Chinese restaurant every time, she love to order the Hokkian Mee with its own sambal. She said is one of the best. I personally think not bad too, you can see a lot of pork meat and pork lard on topping! Their mee soup with pork mixed is one of the best as well. I think any meal that you ordered with pork, it will all taste good. Price for 4 drinks with 4 meal, it cost RM66+. Still below RM20 per pax. The food really brings back old memories... It somehow reminds me of an old chinese shop I used to when I was young! Toilet is a bit unhygienic. If you're a fussy person, I will not recommend you to use then 😂

First time here, so here's my honest review: Food: Food was a bit bland, I was expecting something savoury. Portion is ok. Service: I went here during the first day of Raya, the service was very extremely poor. People who came later than me and my fam got their food first. Idk how their system works? Atmosphere: quite ok lah, typical kopitiam vibe.

One of the few Asian restaurants in Penampang Baru that still open for business after Servay Hypermarket is closed. The restaurant opens until 1030 pm daily. Outside seats are also made available in the restaurant and the environment is acceptable despite some of the areas are quite deem and it is advisable to take extra good care of your personal belongings.

The restaurant service delivery was ok and the food quality also acceptable. If you are into Asean food, you may visit this restaurant to...
