The Maker Cafe — Restaurant in Borneo

Beautifully decorated with biblical typography and wooden furnishings, this homely cafe offers a variety of western beverages and desserts ideal for an afternoon tea.

Where the 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 excels in terms of its clean and simple presentation, it lacks in the smoothness of texture. It seems the amount of gelatine used in the top blueberry-infused layer is too excessive, resulting in a rock solid surface that fails to complement the softer cheese middle layer. What’s missing here is the tartness and richness of cream cheese to make it a cheese cake. Its third layer leaves much to be desired as it just tastes like a mild flavoured version of the top layer; perhaps it could have been done without. The graham cracker crust was soggy unlike most other cheesecakes, which could have been drier to uplift the other dense aspects of the cake.

Unfortunately, the 𝗜𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗷𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 follows in suit in its underwhelming nature. It falls short of any artisanal slant as the hojicha extract is too thin to the point the dairy taste takes centre stage instead. What was missed too was a grainy texture that characterises most beverages of the same name elsewhere. Similar to the cake, its redeeming quality is certainly its unpretentious presentation.

Despite the abysmal rating I am giving, I do believe this cafe has potential and by no means is its food inedible. Reason for my rating is on the fact that there are various cafes within walking distance with offerings that feel like more heart and attention has been paid to make it unique and...

Cozy Café, love the vibes and the cakes are nice. Coffee is a must, either you're here for business meets or friendly meetup. The blueberry yogurt cheesecake is wonderful, timid and enough to fill the afternoon tea. The café latte is excellent. Plenty of seating space for 2 to 6 people and the environment is chilly. Not atmosphere isn't very cold, plenty of parking space and books or board games are provided. The service is great, overall, really love the vibes, the classy piano playing in the background as I drink my coffee of the day just...

A cosy cafe, great ambience. Good poace to hang out with friend. Love their ice blended chocolate oreo. Chocolate cake is alrite.. Tiramisu is good.. There's a special message on each tiramisu. Hope ,Peace. There are a quite a significant amount of books in the cozy shop that filled two book shelves for reading in the cafe itself or for borrow? Not too sure. There is a piano tuck at the corner for anyone to feel free to jam away....
