Ordered fried salted egg squid. Very delicious. Not too salty. Around RM28 for a sizeable portion. Will come back next time to try other dishes. The dumpling (Kepayan dumpling stall) in the same premise was also pretty good. RM10 for 10 pieces. March 2023 update. Came here again, ordered the dumpling and salted egg squid. Yummy like before. Tried the ikan panggang. Also very good. Comes with sambal. Delicious! Feb 2025 update. Quite disappointed with the food this round--was mostly underseasoned, the salted egg bitter gourd was soggy, fish was not deep fried in super hot oil enough to be crispy etc etc..in fact, I won't come here again in a long time EXCEPT for the dumplings (a stall next to Win Yee). Still the best so far. Not sure what happened to Win Yee. Maybe their cook/chef left already? But the food isn't as delicious as before. I hope they improve in future.

First time here, took a chance—and wow. A hearty, satisfying meal that hit the spot. Ordered 1 pax Hamchoi soup, S size sayur manis and the smallest steamed Nyonya style tilapia they can cook for 2 pax. Let’s get down to business. I like my hamchoi soup a little bit on the sour side but this small portion still hits the spot. It’s the perfect blend if I do say so myself 🤤 Sayur manis was good too - according to my standard cuz I definitely had worse. Nothing much to say. Chef’s kiss. Nyonya style tilapia was definitely the cherry on top for tonight’s dinner. I usually only eat these kinds of meal during a family dinner and never on a 2 pax setting however there’s no regrets on this one. It was perfect 👌

1. Taste: 3/5 2. Presentation: 3/5 3. Portion size: 4/5 4 Temperature: 4/5 5. Service: 4/5 6. Value for money: 4/5 7. Overall: 4/5 It’s your typical coffee shop environment with tables outside so it’s a little warm depending on the time you come. Veggie was ok, fish quite big for two ppl but m sure thy wanted us to pay a little more, thy always do dat so u hv to be specific wen ordering fish, give thm a weight. Problem with fresh water fish is wat thy feed the fish n its those pallets which wen eating the fish taste very powdery n i hate dat. The dumpling was good. Dis plc has been around for a long time n food is average to good.

Win Yee restaurant was the place to be few years back.. I was disappointed with the way they serve customer lately.. been giving win yee a few chances on improving their services and food taste, but about a month ago they have cross the line when food portion order was totally in different with what been written (final bill will be as on written order)..

How can you as a restaurant owner can not differentiate between 6 pcs shrimp and a half kilograms of prawns.. it is not about the money, it is about you cheating the customers to their face (me) and if that wasn't bad enough, telling me that it was tiger prawns when ask about the price for that 6 pcs "shrimp"..

Not recommend to come here.. maybe I'm having such bad luck on the last few visit but surely this is not the way to do business..

But all this are from my personal experience here.. I only can share what had happened but not what...
