Dragon Noodle 龙须面 All Season Place — Restaurant in George Town

Decided to try this place for dinner. There’s 2 area to sit which is the shop itself or opposite the shop there’s another enclosed with Air-cond 3 tables. We wanted to sit the smaller area and regret after noticing there’s no button or way to call the server if you have any questions on the menu or need any condiments additionally. The server service quality was inconsistent, 2 of them didn’t announce what noodle it is and 1 of them did mention so we can tell her to serve it in front of them. Here’s what we tried tonight :

Sesame Oil Drumstick Mee Suah Rm 18.90 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s decently nice, portion and ingredients given were sufficient however there’s a slight lack of aromatic sesame oil. It’s not a dish that will make us craving for it for sure.

Herbal Soup Mee Sua with Chicken Drumstick Rm 18.90 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Generous herbal ingredients so the soup is delicious. The bowl is pretty shallow about 1 inch depth so it’s easier to eat while retaining the heat from below.

Dan Dan Noodle Rm 14.90 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal, a bit bland but still okay.

Hot & Spicy Mee Sua Kor Rm 16.90 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well seasoned soup, the taste mostly of spicy bean paste. Quite a big portion.

Signature Noodle + Shao Kao Chicken Rm 19.90 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Big portion, crispy chicken not too dry and noodle sauce quite nice.

Shredded Cucumber with Sauce Rm 5.90 ⭐️⭐️ A lot chili oil, didn’t taste much any flavour from the chili paste, lack of flavour besides only spicy from the oil. I had better ones at other places where they have saltiness from soy sauce lightly marinate them.

Homemade Herbal Tea Rm 6.90 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Delicious drink with quite thick herbal used.

Overall the food is still okay but nothing stand out as it is averagely I can get the same taste from hawker place except they have more ingredients hence higher price point. There are service charge 5% and...

Theirs signature Milky Collagen Broth Bee Hoon with Siakap Fish (胶原蛋白鱼片粗米粉) is pure comfort in a bowl! The broth is rich, creamy, and full of natural sweetness from the collagen—super nourishing and satisfying. The Siakap fish slices are fresh, tender, and smooth, pairing perfectly with the soft bee hoon that soaks up all the flavor. Every spoonful is warm, silky, and comforting—perfect for a rainy day or when you’re craving something hearty yet light. Definitely a dish I would come back for! 😋🐟🍜

🍜 Dragon Noodle's Signature Mee Sua Koh (招牌面线糊) is absolutely comforting and full of flavor! The texture is smooth and slightly thick, just the way a good bowl of mee sua should be. The broth is rich, savory, and well-seasoned, coating every strand of the mee sua beautifully. The toppings are generous, and each bite feels hearty and satisfying. It’s the kind of dish that warms you up and hits all the right notes—simple, homely, and super tasty. Highly recommended! 😋🥢

🔥 Dragon Noodle’s 腊肠烧饭 Lap Cheong Fried Rice is a simple dish done right! The rice is perfectly wok-fried with that nice smoky “wok hei” aroma, and the lap cheong (Chinese sausage) brings a sweet, savory pop in every bite. Each spoonful is well-balanced, not too oily, and full of flavor. Sometimes the simplest dishes leave the strongest impression—will definitely order...

Limited choice of noodles and rice but delicious, spicy, flavorful and tasty meal. The notable noodles and flavors are the La Mien, Malak / Mapo (Dry and Soup type) and the Signature Milky Soup with Chinese Wine. Be forewarned, the Mala or Chong Qing set are for the brave with strong mouth and tongue to resist or overcome the extreme spiciness. It was super spicy even we ordered the mild set, the condiments are Lor Bak, Taiwan sausages, Roll Soy Stick, Wantan and many more. The braised pork BIG intestine was overwhelming in smell and taste, felt like it's NOT properly cleaned. We loved the Dry Chong Qing Malak (La Mien / Dragon Beard) Noodles Set, Malak Soup Set and the Signature Milky wt Chinese Wine. They serves Mapo Tofu, Ro Lu Fan, Pork Belly with Salted Fish, Spicy Mala Pork Belly Rice Set, Fried Beancurd and dumpling sets too. The Lor Bak was nice but the Taiwan Sausages was normal as it was deep fried without any additional seasoning. The home cooked drink are the Chrysanthemum, Bamboo Cane and Herbal Tea - no longer available here. Other drinks are Coke, 100 Plus, Sprite and Mineral Water - limited choice only.
