The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf — Restaurant in George Town

Bad experience having breakfast there. I ordered drinks and just 2 bun but waited my food for almost 1 hour.

I just ordered 2 pieces of bun which just need to be put in oven for maybe 5-10minutes but I waited for almost 1 hour.

In between, I asked the cashier about my order, but she didn’t check anything for me and just answered me that only one staff working in the kitchen so will take longer. It’s not logical as I just order bun but not breakfast set which needs to be cooked. However, since the cashier answered me so, I just continue waiting. After waiting for another half an hour, the bun not yet done! My goodness! I asked again and she only willing to check for me and just realised she missed my order!!!

I’m really very unhappy with this incident. I wanna have breakfast but it became brunch. Just two bun which needs 5-10minutes to be heated but I waited for almost 1 hour. And I think the staff isn’t serious with customer’s problem, that’s why after the second time inquiry only check...

I understand that the food will be slow to come out when there is a shortage of staff, but why don't you provide a notification device when it's busy? With so many people and the sound of music and coffee machines, how can people hear you calling their names?
