Disappointing Service Despite Good Ambience and Food
The ambience was pleasant and the food was undeniably good. However, for a restaurant that positions itself as high-end, the service attitude was far below expectations, making the entire experience extremely uncomfortable.
Right from the start, one of the staff members — a man with glasses — made us feel unwelcome during the ordering process. If the restaurant has a policy requiring each diner to order a main dish, it should be clearly stated upfront or listed in the reservation terms. Some of us have smaller appetites and preferred to share, but the server’s attitude came off as condescending, as if we couldn’t afford the food. If that’s your policy, then kindly communicate it clearly before diners are seated — not through judgmental expressions or rude tones.
Secondly, if there’s a dining time limit, that should also be made clear during reservation or displayed somewhere in the restaurant. Instead, we were only informed at 7:50 PM that the table needed to be vacated by 8:00 PM because it had been reserved for another group — effectively asking us to leave with almost no notice. Was it because we “didn’t order enough”? For a group of 10, we ordered 4 starters, 6 main dishes, 6 non-alcoholic drinks and 3 alcoholic beverages. If that’s considered “not enough” to justify our presence, then please be upfront with your minimum spending requirements.

Read moreI’ll wanna complaint about the servicing problem. I Can clearly see during my evening there, they were short of floor staff. Beginning of my evening there wanted to placed a small order as I was starving and still waiting for my other frens to arrived that took them some time to take my order after calling out for them 3 times. The used an iPad to take order but I don’t think they have a system which connects to the kitchen which is not efficient at all. After that my frens arrived and our food arrived, the first think I ate was the fries which comes together with the main course, it was COLD fries which makes me wonder how is it possible?!
By the end of my evening we ask them to clear the tables for the cake and refill our water ( 3rd time asking for it when they sent in our food). They just clear the tables, left the door open ( as we were sitting outdoors in the bubble)but didn’t not come back until we went in to take the cake ourselves after multiple trips to ask ther waiter to take out the cake and refill our water. I do not complain about my experience normally but this is the worst I’ve experienced. So I’ve to give a feedback to solve these problems. If short off staff closed the outdoor section so they the waiter do not have to run-around or put a system outside so their customers can ask for service without leaving the bubble! Read moreI had a very disappointing dining experience here. I made a booking through WhatsApp for a company dinner for 10 pax, clearly stating my budget and dietary preferences (beef and non-beef options). The staff assured me that their food suggestions would be sufficient for 10 people within my budget.
However, when we arrived, the food portions were shockingly small and clearly not enough. We had no choice but to add on dishes, which caused us to go over budget—defeating the entire purpose of the prior communication.
When I raised the issue with the waitstaff, they simply pointed fingers at each other and said it wasn’t them who replied to my message. There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to resolve the situation.
To make things worse, the food took a very long time to be served.
Instead of putting effort into flame performances and dry ice theatrics, I strongly suggest the restaurant focus on improving food portion planning, service standards, and basic customer care. This was a frustrating and embarrassing experience, especially for a company dinner.
