Karaikudi Chettiar Restaurant Bayan Baru — Restaurant in George Town

We used to be a Regular Customer of this Resturant.. And this is Very popular for it's taste.. But i think they are taking Advantage for it's popularity.. Taste is good , Serving is good but the person stands at the account section is very arrogant.. Although it's written 10pm closing time on the Website But actually they closes at 9pm..They are very particular for their timing..We entered there at 8:57 according to their Resturant clock timing where it's running 5 min faster then the actual timing.. Still it's not the Closing time right ? But when we entered there That person looked at us said it's Closed and and showed us towards the gate..And turned that board to Closed side.. Such type of Behaviour they are showing to the Customer.. If you are following the timing follow...

Can’t say good but not bad either, Takes around 10~15mins to serve the food, Seating is comfortable and decent, Hand wash area needs improvement,

Tea/coffee: 2/5 stars, the size n taste is no match for the price Chapathi : 4/5 stars, channa is good. Kabab kalmi m: 2/5, again the taste n price is no where near. Biriyani: 2/5 stars, Uses the same rice for whatever biriyani u order, say egg, chicken, mutton etc. Egg Biriyani: 1/5stars, 2 boiled eggs with biriyani rice for RM11. Gulab jamun: 4/5 stars, it’s canned , probably haldirams, atleast they serve hot, it tastes better.
