First and foremost after ordering the cashier decided to tell me there is no french toast he said finish. So I asked do you have peanut toast he said yes we have what does this mean. Both breads is he lazy to make it. Than my half boil egg was blinking cold who eats half boil egg cold. Basically it was pre cooked and left there it's not hygiene at all. Than I received my coffee which I said less sugar but it was heavenly sugar. The cashier was a Bangladeshi. The receipt printed cumaress MALAYSIAn name what's a joke. Is foreign workers allowed to mend cashiering I tot it's not allowed. Two Malaysian lady with no sense of smile or hospitality and you say this is how they serve in a airport where you have foreigners. Biggest joke is I m not allowed to pay by card or duit now only cash and u know I had to like withdraw cash than he decided to say use touch n go. I m not sure whether the owners knows this or not . Maybe perhaps because it's the only restaurant onsite the boarding area so they don't care. So I have decided to bring the issue to the MAHB Aviation on this matter. I am 21 years in the hospitality field and to have such employees messing with the tourism industry should not be given a job. Seriously very disappointed with Penang Airport and the it's tenant Old town White coffee....
Read moreTheres no problem with the foods and atmosphere here in Old Town White Coffee. I can say that was 1 of the legend kopitiam in Malaysia. I am wondering, since the standard of the foods is quite well maintained, why is this restaurant/cafe getting lesser nowadays, only few left in Penang.
After wondering for quite sometimes, now I know why. The service is really BAD! For International boarding area: 10am in the morning, theres no food available, none of it is available, only serving coffee. The waiter respond was only "No, don't have, don't have food", but the menu is on the cashier. AND they continue chit chating 😒
While for Domestic area, the service is almost the same, bad attitude, not friendly, just look at you, there's no voice at all from the cashier staff! At least greet or talk to your customer MANNNN when your customer is being friendly with you while ordering! Did not talk with your customer, but you just continue chit chatting with other staff while we are ordering foods. WOW!!!
LACK OF ATTITUDE !! Maybe you should reconsider all of your old town staff, train them to talk, because the have mouth! One more, their eye interaction, seems like they are not happy to serve the...

I never review anything on google … but i hope oldtown can see my review … the floor waiter showed the black face when we ask for 8 person table … and i see there is 2 table and putting for staff only sign… but no staff sitting there … we say can let us sit one table … he say no and throw things show temper to us … is is correct attitude to customer ? And standing there and show us the rude attitude… if there is traveller from other place how people think … really angry ! We did not do anything ask nicely and showing bad attitude to us ….
