I went to Starbucks yesterday night with my friends. We ordered drinks and wanted to dine inside, as that area was more comfortable and preferred by us. However, when we arrived, before placing our order,I saw one staff blocking the area and saying he was going to clean it. After we made our payment, I asked the cashier if we could sit there once the cleaner finished, and she said yes. While waiting for our drinks, we sat in another dining area, but I noticed that the staff wasn’t actually cleaning. Instead, he was taking orders and even promoting something to another customer (though I’m not sure). So, I went to ask him politely if we could sit inside, since we preferred a more comfortable spot. He said he wanted to clean the area first, but I had already been waiting for over 20 minutes and nobody was cleaning that section. I asked him how long it would take, and first he said 30 minutes, then he changed it to 1 hour. So I told him that we were only planning to sit there for about 15 minutes anyway, since he wasn’t actually cleaning the place. There were also two people already dining in that area, so I didn’t understand why we couldn’t. His answer was that those customers were there before he started “cleaning” and he added that it would be disturbing for us to sit there because the dust would “cover our face” while he cleaned. I even asked my friends if they were okay with it, and they had no problem sitting there while he worked but the staff still refused to let us sit, giving more excuses. On top of that, the way he spoke to me was rude. The staff's behaviour was unprofessional and left us with a ver negative experience. In the picture, you can clearly see that there are already people sitting in the area. However, the staff used a rack to block off the section, making it look like it was closed. This shows that customers were still allowed to sit there, yet we were told we couldn’t, which...
Read moreI definitely ordered a latte today but it tasted like a milkshake. I talked to a male staff start with name A (can't really remember a nobody's name) and informed him that the latte tasted a bit weird and the milk smell is a bit too much. Instead of helping customer, he questioned me and made a unprofessional response that more milk is good and the latte made from this outlet would taste the same like this, even though I'd emphasized that the latte I bought at different outlets didn't taste the same. I have no mean of berating, but if the baristas there can't make a latte, they should be sent back for training, or selling milkshake by the roadside, though I believe other stalls can sell a better beverage than them. The standard, professionalism and ethic are quite of a barbarian where normal language are not understood. That needs to be improved truly, on top. I am wondering why Starbucks would put uncivilized staff at their front lines to damage their own brand and products, but I doubt they would take any action to rectify the unpleasant experience during our patronage. Hope this help the staff there, especially Mr A, to improve, or unleash their potential in a field that suits them, instead of wasting time staying...

If not, please leave, don’t just sit here.” What kind of service attitude is that? Definitely avoid...
