I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place genuinely deserves one — not for hype, but because it absolutely blew me away. Tucked away on the second floor and incredibly easy to overlook, this restaurant is a hidden gem that most people would probably walk right past — and that’s their loss.

I’ve been eating my way through town for the past two weeks, and hands down, this was the best meal I’ve had. No competition. If you’re coming, do yourself a favour and order the Indonesian Prawn in Claypot, the Nyonya Fish, the Mussels in Cream Sauce, and any tofu dish they offer — every single bite was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. Honestly, I’m still thinking about that meal days later. It was that good.

Brought my family over for early lunch right around 11.15am. We were the first on Sunday morning, the servers greeted us and directed us to the table of the day, number 8, Huat ah.

Right after we were seated, they passed us the menu and explain the set meal and ala carte options. There were many ala carte dishes at your choice, in the end, we went for the set C meal since there is a promotion comes free tea and crab meat shark fin soup that made today of 7 dishes a course.

The set come with fish, chicken, pork, prawn, beancurd, vegetables and nevertheless, soup. Just the 4 of us I must say it is a feast. I eyed on another salad but the waitress ask us better consider later, it was a good advise to us. Finally we finished them all up to 95%, left over vege, lesser the sin.
