This place serves affordable meals in Sungai Dua area. The restaurant is quite big, no air conditioning but ventilation is quite good. SOP for covid is quite adequate with their seats spaced out nicely. Food is above average, but not particularly good. Tried the curry mee, pan mee, char koay teow and rice sets. Curry mee is nice, broth is flavourful. The chilly paste really hit on your palate nicely. The broth is slightly sweet. Pan mee is nice, noodles is springy, good amount of minced meat and black fungus. Char koay teow is not too oily, quite generous with the ingredients, but the wok hey is inadequate. Taste is otherwise okay. I ordered a salted egg chicken with rice. The salted egg is too sweet rather than salty... I can even feel the undissolved sugar when I chew on the chicken with the sauce. Otherwise chicken is prepared nicely, tender and flavourful.
Overall, I find the food generally are too sweet for my liking. Price is very economical. Service is super fast. I got my food within 5 to 8minutes after I ordered. I...

They have a rather interesting menu with all the different combos and add-ons for their famous white curry noodles.
My personal favourite would be the fried fish + tofupok variant.
The determining factor for a bowl of white curry noodles lies in their chili paste, and their recipe has excelled in it.
The only few things that turns me off would be:-
each time I frequent, I find that the copies of the menu are slightly greasy. would appreciate if the proprietors can take note of this and ensure cleanliness of the menus, perhaps wipe it more often.
the shop is using robo-servers to serve the noodles to patrons, however the staffs should take note of the position/placement of chopsticks, perhaps may consider storing in a sealed container on the table or have staffs bring it out, rather than placing at an awkward angle.
hear me, don't place the chopsticks with the white cover/wrapper covering the tip of the chopstick facing outwards or sideways at the tray for customers to pick it, it...
Malaysian famous food - Penang White Curry Noodle, it was common food came along with our childhood, this shop claim their are the original one, I don't want to question about it as it taste not bad. They play around with AGV to serve food, quite interesting, but I would say it is a bit too much when you don't have much customer to serve anyway. Regarding the location, in Penang island, nowhere are urban actually, you have to come across some traffic to get to where you want to go, so I would rather said it located at less traffic area rather than urban. Then about the pricing, RM17 a bow of...
