F HOTEL (budget hotel) — Hotel in George Town

He is my take.

"Murah, The name budget hotel does not do justice for the people that check in here. The price that im paying for the room that i got does not add up. Here is why; The room is OLD The beds, pillow, chairs and table is OLD The toilet is just so wrong!! With old rusted pipes visible, old water heater. I dont know where to start. Plus the aircond water drips back into the toilet and its constantly wet. No ventilation port thus the smell of wet bathroom will end up filling the room. Floor tile got cracks and worst walking on it feels that i was not cemented properly. Electrical wire are hanging loosely. No decor~ flat emptiness

The list goes on but making it short.. its just unpleasent conditions..

However, credit is given when it is due. Front office staff is friendly The aircond is demm cold!!! (This is the ONLY plus for the room)

To be charged Rm120 for this room (single queen)is a rip off. At a lower price, G9 Hotel Alor Setar gives way better and beyond expectation package.

This maybe an old hotel, but the customer deserves way more than what is given here. I have to endure because is close to my work location for the day. But this, just dont cut it for me.

Stayed in the 3 person room for 1 night. It was reasonably clean (for this price). Price was reasonable for a 3 person bed. Towels and mineral water were provided. The only thing was the room was facing the main road so you can expect to hear all the sounds of vehicles passing through the road, and the voice of people chatting from outside. While these are external, we found out that certain pipes pass through our room. So whoever from the upstairs flushed the toilet, we could literally hear the sounds clearly. Those sounds were exceptionally obvious especially in the night where the environment was literally quiet and you would suddenly get "shocked" by vehicles, pipes, people laughing. If you can tolerate that and this is your budget, go ahead. My family including me had an insomnia that night except our 9 years old little girl who were able to...

Worst most service I've ever faced. Washroom condition was horrible. I didn't find any tissue over there and i asked for it in reception and management replied that this is low budget hotel and we don't provide tissue which cost may be 1RM. I astonished. The water heater makes car engine sound and there was no knob. They'll provide towels in your hand when you chk in and u have to return it by hand when chk out. Lastly my rent was 150.14RM for 2days. I gave 150 then receptionist asked for 14cent!! Ok then I gave 15cent and asked for 1cent back with smiling face... Worst most experience. They have preyer room exceptional. Complementary breakfast...
