Always a pleasure to be back at this cozy gem! 🌟
Every visit to this café feels like coming home. One of the highlights is seeing the adorable cat, Mike, that owner Derek rescued some time ago. It’s amazing to see how the once tiny kitten has grown into such a gorgeous, healthy cat—clearly well cared for by Derek. It’s truly heartwarming to support a place run by such kind-hearted, animal-loving people.
We recently visited as a family of four, along with our small dog, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The café is wonderfully pet-friendly, with a comfortable and welcoming ambience that’s perfect for family gatherings.
Food-wise, it was a feast! We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one stood out:
Nanban Prawn Rice: Crispy, golden prawns with a tangy, slightly creamy nanban sauce. The balance of flavors was spot on—light, savory, and satisfying.
Ginger Sesame Oil Chicken Rice: Rich and fragrant, the chicken was cooked to perfection—tender and well-marinated with the bold ginger and sesame oil flavors.
Ginger Sesame Oil Chicken Noodle: The same comforting flavors as the rice dish but with chewy, springy noodles that soaked up the delicious broth.
Seven Treasure Herbal Chicken Rice: A hearty dish with a wonderful blend of herbal notes complementing the juicy, tender chicken.
Rose Tea & Passionfruit Tea: The rose tea was delicately floral and soothing, while the passionfruit tea was vibrant, tangy, and refreshingly fruity.
Matcha Egg Tart & Coffee Egg Tart: My personal favorite was the egg tart! The crust was beautifully flaky and fragrant with a light, buttery aroma. The filling was smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness—not too rich but perfectly balanced.
Special Treat: Derek and Brandon were kind enough to let us try their yet-to-launch Soya Bean Ice Cream and White Coffee Ice Cream. The soya bean flavor was subtly natural and creamy—great for those who prefer a less sugary treat. The white coffee flavor was aromatic and had a smooth, mellow coffee taste that wasn’t overpowering.
Great value for quality! One of the best parts about this place is that despite offering premium-quality ingredients, the prices remain reasonable. You can taste the freshness and quality in every bite, making it feel like great value for the experience.
A big shoutout to Derek, Brandon, and the whole team for their warm hospitality and fantastic service. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. It’s not just about the food but the positive, welcoming vibe they create.
For those curious, I’ve attached some photos of the food, drinks, desserts, and, of course, the charming Mike! 🐾
Highly recommend this café for anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere! Can’t wait to...

Burger patty rice - Patty very thin and break easily, tasted like patty version chinese bak wan and the one i got already burnt and not juicy. sauce too thick and salty. Someone mentioned portion big, dont bother.
Luncheon meat fries - Not sure which brand they use but its near to no taste, usually luncheon meat salty, very thick cut if you like that, personally had better elsewhere.
Chicken kaarage is the worst, first time in my life tasted a fried chicken that doesn't have any taste. Chicken meat is quite dry too. Dude the chicken would have taste better if you bought a pack of fried chicken powder from the mall. Saw someone mentioned about the chicken being tasteless too, i agree with her and theres no sauce for the chicken either, just one mayo that totally doesn't match the chicken. Ended up throwing some away, still… not sure how they marinade the chicken. Maybe can research some recipe from youtube.
Lastly the eggtart, ordered 2, 1 soggy and pale looking another 1 crispy but one side of the skin missing, not sure about the inconsistency. The crispy one tasted ok but filling is very little and cannot taste much of the egginess if you get it.
Overall can try if no choice but i personally wont reorder. Please skip the chicken...
Read moreAn elegant restaurant serving a very modern chic style with vanish wooden furniture with a dark interior wall. Makes you feel that you dine in one of the hotel restaurants. The atmosphere is pleasant with background music played. Perfect for solo eaters or group gatherings. The only reason why the establishment didn't get five stars is because their loud coffee machine kills the vibe. The food serves fusion with Asian food with French pastries. It is a non-halal restaurant because it serves pork. Some of the food is over priced but the quality is superb if you choose wisely. Love the croissant with butter and kaya if you don't mind being charged over the average price. Service wise is good, the servers are courteous to you. However, the menu is thru QR code, so seniors might have a hard time looking up. The establishment is pet friendly too. Overall, I am truly impressed with such a good vibe restaurant serving an affordable meal without compromising the quality...
