Ordered 2 sets of their hot pot, they have many broth to choose from, we had the pork and sour cabbage. Both were light and yet flavorful, really didn't get much of msg, salt or flavoring, so we're happy with that, mostly cooked with original ingredients. The sauces that came were the highlight as well, 1 was chili and another was a mix or garlic and soy sauce, both complimented the meal very nicely. Queue outside at 6pm on a Sunday evening was long, suggest to come earlier if you're able to. this is a tai ho jiak in penang sunshine central. is good that they open a branch here for people lookong for Taiwan food or chinese food. currently there still not much choice in terms of food store i central mall.
the environment is bright and clean, with ample of seating available. but sometimes at rush hour we still need to wait for seats.
overall the food are good. we have been here twice and have a good meal. the personal hot pot is a good value, we will try more of different soup base in future visit. the service are good too with curtious staff.
