Ok ok experience. The shop is small, atmosphere is good. It's quite noisy but doesn't bother me, it's just hard to talk with your friends.
The food was okay. Spaghetti was not bad, good presentation but the waffle was a bit disappointing.
Service is okay. Since I mentioned it's hard to hear because the shop is noisy, the receptionist seemed a bit annoyed and impatient when she couldn't hear what we say. So speak louder.
There are a group of workers gathered behind the counter..but still the service was kind of slow. Another thing is not sure why they can't take our order from the table like every shop. But it's not a big deal so never mind...? but curious, the shop is small... and there are a group of workers there...they can like take orders from tables...and maybe just take a quick look around and be more alert when to serve the dessert when their customer is almost done with their meal? We waited quite long just for the waffle to be prepared and our meal was already finished much earlier..
Maybe need some improvement in customer service? Well it's good to try once but not a...
Read moreWent to this cafe around 2:30pm on Saturday with a high expectation of their creativity in latte art performance and multiple awards in championship. What a disappointment when I saw the drink. The hazelnut hot chocolate tastes normal (nothing special), and the latte art was mediocre like what I have seen in other cafes.
I was told during weekend or when the barista is busy, they won’t spent extra effort to make more creative latte art design to avoid long wait. I was told the special design is only for off peak hours like weekdays, which I find this unreasonable. Some customers get a more beautiful latte art but some don’t.
Given latte art is its unique selling point, it’ll be better to ensure customer gets a ‘beautifully’ crafted hot drink. Hope you’ll consider this as room for improvement, not a criticism.
Cafes is a very crowded market, if Tiffz plans to sustain the business in long term, please take the extra miles to make every drink with TLC in latte art. Also the cafe is extremely noisy, there is no sound-absorbing panel, almost need to shout to talk...
Read moreA great cafe to catch an afternoon tea or dinner; they not only serve lattes with award-winning latte art, the food is also deliciously addictive.
We arrived slightly earlier for dinner, and we were promptly shown to an area to pick our table. Ordering was a simple step of me remembering what everyone wanted, and proceeding to the counter to order. For drinks, we had the Italish which was a tasty combination of espresso, Earl Grey and milk, and the Secret Garden which was Green Tea with lychee and soda if my memory serves my right. For food, we ordered the Tiffz 2.0 Burger, a cheesy pasta whose name slips my mind, and a waffle. The waffle was the star of the show; pretty to look at, and delicious with all the toppings on top of a nice, fluffy waffle that's perfectly crispy on the outside.
The servers and Barista were friendly, and while there wasn't much to the decor, the place felt quite spacious with the tables set quite far apart. Recommended if you're in the area and looking for respite from the hot sun with a...
