Okay, so we just had a really lovely family dinner out! There were six of us – the four adults and our two kids – and we ordered a spread. The absolute stars of the show? Definitely the two salted egg yolk crabs. Seriously, that creamy, savory sauce coating the fresh crab was just divine. Everyone was digging in, and it got pretty quiet for a while, which you know means it's good! We also got a plate of veggies for a bit of balance, a comforting clam soup, and a tofu and vegetable dish. Everything was tasty, but the best part was seeing the kids really enjoy it. They can be a tough crowd sometimes, but they were happily munching away. We all had refreshing watermelon juices too. Honestly, it was just a really nice meal. The kids loved it, which is always a big win, right? If you're looking for somewhere that does great seafood that the whole family will enjoy, this place is worth checking out. That salted egg yolk crab? Seriously good. We left feeling...
Read moreWas there for dinner on a Friday night and the restaurant was not crowded. The dish were quite reasonable price but they no longer served any dim sum. We ordered the free range steam chicken, fried beans with xo sauce, bean curd with pumpkin sauce and garlic butter prawn. The chicken was ok and nothing special. The spring onion sauce does not have any ginger taste. The fried beans with xo sauce was ok but the xo sauce lacked the taste. Garlic butter prawn was totally disappointing as it was too sweet. It does not even looked like the normal butter prawn I know and the staff told us it's dry. The tofu tastes ok and nice with the pumpkin sauce. Overall the staff were friendly and the food was not bad. Even though the portion was small but it's portion is quite generous compared to other restaurants. Will go again to try...
Read moreVery good dimsum quality and taste for the price point
Ordered several "standard" dimsum items. Prawns were fresh & plump for the har gau & chee cheong fan. Both skins were soft & not grainy. The chicken feet tender which many places now-a-days are hard. Pork ribs was seasoned nicely. Loh mai kai execellent. Taro balls was just crispy enough & yam filling was soft.
If want to find fault was maybe that I had better char siew pau skin. Theirs was not fluffy enough but overall I would give 4/5 if I want to be picky.
Service was prompt and didn't need to wait too long for the food to arrive. Captain/manager went around asking customers how was the food etc. Next time will try their...
