Larkopi — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

I recently visited here based on several glowing recommendations, particularly for their Mee Siam. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the hype.

The Mee Siam was a major letdown. It lacked the aromatic fragrance that is typically a hallmark of this dish. The flavors were bland, and the dish felt uninspired. It was missing the depth and balance of sweet, sour, and spicy that I had been looking forward to.

The coffee was equally disappointing. It did not have the rich aroma that one expects from a good cup of coffee. Instead, it tasted flat and uninspiring, lacking the robust flavor and invigorating scent that would make it enjoyable.

Despite the positive reviews I had seen, the food and coffee failed to impress. I hope they can improve on these aspects, as the potential for a great dining...

Ordered a medium wantanmee and a small wantanmee. The first wantanmee was served and was told it’s a small portion. And we waited another 10 minutes but the other one still not yet served and we asked for the medium one. The waiter at the counter asked and told us the medium already served and the small one was preparing. We told her just now we asked and the other waiter said that one is small portion. So, the waiter at the counter started to insist that the medium portion already served for a long time. During the time she tangled, we also haven’t received our wantanmee. At last we canceled the order cause they don’t even preparing yet. While paying the bill, the waiter still insist that the medium portion already served. Really very disappointed for...

Restaurant is cosy and spacious with plenty of seatings. Staff is attentive but parking is little bit hard to find and might park further and walk bit. Menu have plenty of local dishes and drinks. Had the mee siam fried chicken, Nasi lemak fried chicken and ice lemon tea. Mee siam is quite delicious as flavour is quite good and the fried chicken is served hot with crispy skin and tender meat. Nasi lemak rice is fragrance and sambal spicy and sweetness just nice. Lemon tea is refreshing. Overall a great place to chill...
