Der' Cabin Bistro Gelang Patah — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

Place: Open air concept that sells western based foods at a cheap price. I'd say that 4.7 stars for the food is overrated.

Service: The service is top notch here. No complaints 100%. Love how attentive and prompt the waiters are. Speak good English, too. 👍 well done training staff.

Food: loved the service, food so so. Chicken mac and cheese: tasted like it came right out of a can/box. Yes, it's creamy but very artificial tasting. Didn't understand the chilli flakes inside as no indication of spicy in the dish name. Pity my kid had to eat this. It's not my plate of food. Verdict: 1.2/5.

Kids Chicken fingers: The chicken fingers themselves are a bit overcooked and dry. The fries tasted like they were left there for a long time before served. (So it is with the other fries in the other dishes, sacrificing freshness for speed, not a good move here.) The mayonnaise on the side also was obviously left to sit for a long time before being served. (Again, speed over frashness) the sauce was hard and i couldnt dip into it. Verdict: 1.5/5.

Mixed grill of beef and chicken: ordered for medium beef, waited for 20 mins for the food to arrive, upon arrival, chicken was overcooked, and beef was well done. Had to send it back and had to wait another 15 minutes for the refired dish. Good thing they got it right the 2nd time. Good part was they gave me a new chicken too (even though I didn't complain about the chicken) but again, the chicken was a wee bit overcooked (better la) Taste-wise was ok, but the cut of the beef was wrong and, as a result, tough to bite into....

Der' Cabin: A Hidden Gem of Deliciousness! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Der' Cabin, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Even better, despite how busy they were, the waiting time was surprisingly short – a huge plus! But the real star of the show was the food. Every dish was absolutely delicious! Seriously, my taste buds were doing a happy dance. And not only was the food incredible, but the portions were incredibly generous! I definitely left feeling satisfied and full. What makes Der' Cabin even more amazing is that despite the high quality and generous portions, the prices were unbelievably cheap! It's rare to find such value these days. To top it all off, the waiter service was outstanding. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. They made sure we had everything we needed and truly enhanced our dining experience. Der' Cabin is a true gem. Fulamak the service here tip top! Didn’t expect such a good service.

Those waiter work so efficiently, so good service and so polite. They always serve with wide smiles on their faces, not those fakes one but they seems to be very happy at serving customers. The tip top service given like welcome u on arrival, bring to table, give menu, take orders, food serving so fast, food are warm, very flavourful and tasty, confirm all orders are served and quickly collect dirty plates upon customer left the table. Hello is this a fine dining place?! Walao so good la the service!

Those are very good waiter and very good boys, so polite so kind and every “terima kasih” are so genuine. Seriously, where to hire such great employees?!

When we about to finish eat, saw long queue waiting for table around 7.30pm.

Suddenly comes heavy rain, and u know what, they standby with umbrella to send into cars!!!

They serve every customer like they are VIP, so good as if want to do valet bring my car here. Seriously good.
