Tea Garden Gelang Patah — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

First I have to say, we used to go to tea garden at perling and Bukit indah, both we like. However this is the worst branch of tea garden I ever been. We have 7 pax ordered char kuey, Dou shua, crispy noodle in egg gravy, curry chicken with rice, fried mee hon with fried chicken, Portugese egg tart, Dou Hua with Gula Melaka, dim sum and drinks. First serve the egg tart, totally cold and not crispy at all, like overnight egg tart, they don't bother to heat it up,very disappointing. Second, serve the Dou shua with the you tiao, this is super sweet with hard you tiao, fail too. Thirdly serve my son's favourite crispy noodles with egg gravy, however this is totally disappointed with super salty gravy, even my son no appetite to continue after first bite. Then serve the char kuey, from the colour we knew is another failure, this dish should be with dark soy sauce, the whole taste not complete without the dark sauce, the dish is very light brown colour. Here comes the Dou Hua with Gula Melaka, the Gula Melaka has a bland taste with very diluted Gula Melaka. Only the curry chicken and bread are up to standard. Rude managers not only to her staffs but to customers. The food is ok, but if the manager not welcome customers and rude to her staffs, sorry not coming again even i always come here for breakfast. Will go to other branch. That’s my style, never ever deal with arrogant and rude people

details: She talk rudely to his staff because not aware about the foods is ready. She can choose speak politely but she chose to be talk rude. That time her staffs doing other task, not playing game or sitting like her. Or at least she can support the staffs right not acting like she’s the boss and the owner.

To me: She mad at my baby cause touch the cupboard. My baby just one year old, what’s she expect my baby doing instead of playing? She talk rudely “ hey that private property, don't touch “ in rude way. If that’s private property, don’t ever put it in public space. keep the cupboard in your room instead.

I ordered Nasi Lemak Ayam Merah this afternoon and expected that the Nasi Lemak taste good and authentic. Unfortunately, Nasi Lemak taste bland, and no lemak at all. Ayam merah was too spicy to the extend it burnt my tongue and I only taste hot chilli and nothing else. I thought Nasi Lemak ayam merah should taste authentic nasi lemak (nyonya style) since this is consider 'kopitiam' style of restaurant, and ayam merah with a hint of sweetness, not too spicy and not just hot chilli taste. I've told the person in charge about my experience, all they can say is next time just order Nasi Lemak ayam goreng instead. I was like, "okayyyyy, my bad for taking nasi lemak ayam merah to try".
