Hua Kee — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

My most recent visit on 1 Jul 22, ordered the fried veggie 四大天王 but what served to us was "三大天王" because there was no petai inside! If petai was not available, u should inform us otherwise it is cheating to call it 四大天王 in your menu.

We confirmed with the waitress that the signature fried porridge was available before ordering but 10min later we heard someone shouting loudly (almost like scolding) from the kitchen that the fried porridge was not available. The waitress then came to inform us and we agreed to change to fried rice but 10min later, the fried porridge was served to us so we quickly asked the waitress to confirm that it was our order and she said yes so we told her to cancel our fried rice but it was still printed on our receipt when we made payment.

Talking about the menu, the one the waitress given to us was not updated with the price increase. Only when we made payment at the cashier and noted the higher price printed on the receipt then we found out that there was a new menu with updated price. All diners,...

Food - very pricey. If it is delicious, don't mind paying pricey price. But the taste is not authentic. (a) Ordered Ayam Penyet but the chicken tasted like ayam goreng. (b) Ordered sotong sambal, which costed RM24.65, is not fresh and no belacan taste. No aroma too. (c) Ordered satay, haiya, waited for 30 min and we have finished our meal, still haven't arrived. Hence cancelled the order. (d) Ordered chicken feet Dim Sum. Disappointed. No black bean. Taste is not like dim sum chicken feet.

Very bad experience. When ordering, asked how much was the fish head curry (price not indicated on the menu). Was told RM90, so we ordered, plus some order dishes. The bill showed RM117 just for the fish head curry, so we asked. Was told it’s RM90 per kg. The electronic signboard outside the shop shows Grouper as RM70 per kg. Manager said the signboard not updated. Anyway, couldn’t imagined the fish head weighed 1.3kg. Also, the fish head wasn’t fresh and didn’t taste fantastic. Will not be back at this...
