KinglyのWagyu House Japanese Barbecue — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

We are seated at the outdoor dining area as the indoor is full, it is clean and quite cooling. We had the beef platter for 4 to try all the parts, and ordered some of the usual such as tori karaage and ebi tempura which was delicious. They also have engawa sushi which is not commonly sold and this is dusted with gold dust and very nicely presented, the fish also just melts in your mouth.

The platter is served from tender to the soft cuts. It gives you a feel of the different texture of different cuts.

Chawamushi is very soft and smooth.

The Bara Chirashi have a huge Botan Shrimp and several sashimi cuts which includes sea cucumber. It seems like the rice seems to be seasoned as well. (Not mine)

The sliders are something different and not on the menu. Not too bad for a slider but a bit on the spicy side for those who can’t handle spicy food.

We were served by Joey through the dining period, she did the cooking for us with detail explanation of the different cuts. The meat was perfectly grilled to medium and was cut into bite size for us. She also gave us recommendations on what side we can add on, the sliders was her recommendation. Her service is one of the top I would say.

It is very value for the money for the kind of service, the quality of the food and ambiance. Maybe we could try the indoor seating next time.

Amazing experience at Kingsly Wagyu House.

Food/Drinks: Wagyu was fresh and marbling was superb. Tender and melt in your mouth. Go for medium rare for juiciness. Free flow drinks.

Service: Reservation was smooth by Cindy. She assured us that all the meat got halal certificate and they have no pork or lard, the meat is served by their Muslim head chef too.

Service was tip top and was served by Hui Min. She go extra miles to teach us how to cook the meat for medium rare and medium. She not only serve but educate us with the different meat cut and part which is a plus point. She can recommend you the kind of meat suits to your palates.

Ambiance: They have outdoor and indoor settings. They have VIP Japanese dining area too. The interior is beautiful.

Karaoke/Golf simulator room: Above the restaurant, you can book a karaoke room and play golf simulator at the same time in the same room. If you join the VIP membership you get discounted prices for the karaoke/golf simulator.

Place: air-conditioned with soft music in the background, coupled with excellent service and wonderfully BBQ food, all in all, makes it a wonderful experience. If there was a down side, it's that there was an annoying fly buzzing around when we ate.

Service: Hui Min, our waitress, was excellent to say the least. BBQ can be done by waitress in front of you or at the back (out of sight), your choice. Waitress was skilled enough to ask what degree of done-ness we wanted our salmon and beef, and to be able to do it to perfection, is INDEED a skill. Well done!

Food: Wagyu knuckle (RM80): the level of marbling was right and texture was super soft, the amount of seasoning (put by the waitress) was also spot on, the degree of done was also done to request. All in all, a wonderful experience. Verdict: recommended.

Chicken (RM22): BBQed to inner moisture and outer crispy perfection. Verdict: recommended.

Salmon (RM48): done perfectly to crispy skin and moist meat. A harmonious blend of soft and crispy meeting in between with the rich flavour from the sea. Verdict: recommended.
