I expected much much better given the 4.6 star average rating. In truth, a two star rating would be generous.
Their “signature mains”, the grilled chicken breast was dry and tough like cardboard. I had difficulty cutting through it with the metal knife they supplied. The lamb felt it was microwaved and lacked any taste. The tacos were really small for $30 - you get much better at the fast food chain known as Guzman Y Gomez.
The wait staff has been trained to do cross sell and cross sell only. They appeared only to ask you to buy more drinks. When the tables needed clearing, or you needed more utensils, they were nowhere to be found.
Families with kids would do well to avoid this place altogether. The WiFi wasn’t working, there were no kids cutlery and I think the whole restaurant had just 1 baby chair. For a restaurant that’s smack in the middle of a kid friendly mall with jumping gyms, claw machines and kiddy rides, you’d think the owners would have more sense to appeal to families with kids. But nope, zero effort in this regard.
In summary, if you come to Eco botanic, with its wealth of F&B options in the area, I’d advise you to stay clear of this place. Your calories and money are much better spent supporting those small shops littering the boundaries of eco galleria. Where the food is much better, tastier and offers better value for money.
[Edit: revised rating from 2 star to 1 star following the absolutely disgraceful response from the owner. The feedback in my review was genuine and raised on site but nothing was done.
The true keyboard warrior is the owner, who hides behind his cash register counting pennies and responding to Google reviews, instead of going to the front lines and training and guiding his staff. Dear Mamasita Management Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my dining experience at Mamasita on Christmas Eve at Eco Gardenia. As first-time visitors, we came with high expectations based on a friend’s recommendation, but unfortunately, the service and policy handling left us deeply dissatisfied.
Upon arrival, we were informed by the waiter that only the couple’s menu was available during the festive season, and as a family of four, we were required to order two sets of the couple’s menu. Despite explaining that two sets were excessive for us, we were told this was the company policy, leaving us with no choice but to comply.
However, to our surprise, less than 5 mins after placing our order, we observed other tables being served items from the bar menu. When we inquired, we were informed that the boss had made a last-minute decision to allow other menus. Despite this change, our request to adjust our order (either cancel one couple’s set or allow us to order from the bar menu) was denied, citing inflexible policy.
This inconsistent treatment left us feeling frustrated and unfairly treated. Why were other patrons allowed to choose from alternative menus while we were forced to adhere to a rigid policy? Such abrupt changes in policy without consideration for fairness reflect poorly on your establishment’s service standards.
We hope to receive an explanation from your management regarding this matter and assurance that such situations will not occur again. We sincerely believe that fairness and customer satisfaction should be the cornerstone of your service. (Refer to our photos attached, the food came with double portion, is excessive for our intake)

Read moreWe arrived at 10:25pm with the restaurant close to empty, ordered by 10:35pm, and by 11:20pm 95% of the food we ordered (less a plate of 6 wings) hasn't come.
The servers have said 5 min more since 11:03pm and no food has arrived after an additional 15 min.
If this was on an extremely busy night it can be understood but on a night with nearly no other customers, waiting for nearly an hour to eat is absurd. Not even starters have arrived.
Horrible service.
Ruined the vibe of the evening.

Despite the technical issue which can be understood and happens at times there was no form of initiative from the staff. After 30+ minutes with no food arriving despite other customers who arrived later getting their food, they never went to check on the situation themselves.
Secondly, even after I went up to ask if they could check with the kitchen how much longer, they came back to me and said 5 more min. It was only after we complained a second time after the 5 min and more had passed did they say "Your order was never received. We are placing it now."
We ended up getting our food at 11:30pm an hour after we came and 1 dish even arrived cold and stale (the churros).
We found out while paying there was no manager of the joint present, nor was there any form of in-charge. No initiative from the staff was taken to try to remedy the cold dish, or offer any kind of compensation for any of the trouble, they are only offering to try to remedy it now after I left a review. Goes to show they don't have a standard for their service but want to solely protect their ratings.
