As a parent seeking an enriching play experience for my child, I stumbled upon Citrus Playground and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, it was evident that this space was crafted with care and passion.
Owned by an ex-kindergarten teacher,Preetha, Citrus Playground embodies the essence of learning through play. The array of open-ended toys and activities not only captivated my child's imagination but also fostered creativity, problem-solving skills, and social interaction.
What sets this indoor playground apart is its commitment to providing a diverse range of experiences. Whether it's the huge bouncy castle for some physical activity, exploring sensory bin, or engaging in dramatic play scenarios with the wooden train tracks, every corner invites exploration and discovery.
The attention to detail is remarkable. The toys are carefully selected to stimulate curiosity and promote learning in various developmental areas. It's evident that Preetha draws from years of teaching experience to curate an environment that seamlessly blends fun and education.
One aspect that stood out to me was the emphasis on child-led play. Instead of imposing structured activities, children are encouraged to follow their interests and take the lead in their play experiences. This autonomy not only empowers them but also nurtures independence and decision-making skills.
Moreover, Preetha is incredibly warm and attentive. She engage with the children in a genuine and nurturing manner, fostering a sense of belonging and community. Not only with the children, even as an adult, there is more we can learn from her and we can almost talk about anything under the roof especially on parenting. There is so much to exchange and learn from Preetha especially for parents with special needs children. Everyone are welcomed at her space and it’s just not about dropping of your children without supervision, very unlike other indoor playground where the staffs won’t be watching over.
I love how Preetha is dedicated on guiding the children to play safe, providing them the space to solve any conflicts that arises and also teaching and modelling on respecting each other’s space while playing. Where can you find this in other indoor playgrounds?
Overall, Citrus Playground is more than just a place for kids to burn off energy—it's a sanctuary where learning thrives through play. Whether you're a parent, caregiver, or educator, this gem of a playground is a must-visit destination. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a holistic and enriching play experience for their child. I even ended up purchasing their 20 sessions package on my back to...
Read moreVisited Citrus Playground with my two young children and was pleasantly surprised by the unique experience it offers compared to other indoor play areas. Unlike the generic ones, Citrus is a treasure trove of high-quality wooden toys that engage both the body and mind of children. The diversity of toys, including a complete train set and a plethora of books, kept my daughter enthralled. She still talks about the books she read there, days after our visit.
The standout feature for me was the personalized touch from Preetha, the owner. Her warm welcome made us feel at home instantly. She encourages children to explore freely and urges parents to stay engaged with their little ones, creating a wonderfully interactive environment.
While the massive bouncy castle that occupies a major part of the playground is an undeniable attraction, it’s the meticulously chosen toys that truly define the essence of Citrus. The castle is fun and serves as a great physical outlet for kids (and adults!), but it's important for parents to keep an eye out, especially with the mix of older and younger children around.
A big thank you to Preetha for creating such an amazing space. Citrus Playground isn’t just a place to play; it’s where children learn, explore, and grow. Highly recommend it to parents looking for a meaningful play experience for...
Read moreBefore entering Citrus Playground, I didn’t know what to expect - over the years of entering trashed establishments and ill maintained places I have set my standards low, but this has since changed me!
The playground is very well maintained and toys are plentiful (for parents that shop for toys all the time you’d know when I say they keep the good stuff here like Hape wooden toys that are extremely child friendly and fun!)
I had an issue with payment (not their fault but a server error) and even though the kind staff didn’t know how to assist me, she was quick in getting the owner’s help! Long story short, they were extremely professional and assisted me quickly - goes to show the love both owner and staff have for their customers and the playground.
I would highly recommend this playground! Thanks citrus playground team for the beautiful memories I manage to create with...
