This is my first time to dine-in at the restaurant and most of the time, I simply ordered Lontong Kering (one of the signature dishes) via Grab Food. As many said, the price is simply affordable (not really cheap), yet this compensate with the quality of their variety selection of Malay cuisines (mainly Johorean Cuisine - you should try their Asam Pedas). Regarding the service, I trust this could be improved by providing extra friendly services to the customers. After experiencing difficulty to find parking, giving pleasant smile will be a simple gestures that should be given, besides welcoming customers to their restaurant. Yet, when I went to the cafe, I felt like a stranger and lost in the first 45 seconds as the staff didn’t seem to be friendly as I expected.

Not sure why most people said its expensive. We had lunch for 3 paxes 3 types of vegetables, Ikan bakar, Rendang daging and Asam pedas ikan, 3 rice + 3 drinks and 3 types of sambal. All under RM90. Its worth it and food are all delicious, except its not air-conditioned. Lady boss was very polite and help us to heat up the food. Those who said the food is cold, just ask them to heat it up for you. Above all i love the food here

Today try food delivery from Nasi Malaya. The lontong come with sambal and Satay sauce, shiok! Nasi Lemak come in 2 version : Fried chicken and grilled chicken. Both are very good. Thank You Lord Jesus for abundance of Grace upon us. #thanksgiving #感恩 #YOLO #HolyGhost777 #JesusLoveMe #LifeIsEnjoy #highlyfavored #deeplyloved #greatlyblessed #3rdHeaven #Play

Update after my latest visit:

My previous visit left me with a fairly positive impression — the food was good, though on the pricier side. The variety of food was impressive, and you’d be spoilt for choice.

However, I’ve had a change of mind after our most recent visit.

We (a couple) were charged RM90 for nasi campur consisting of regular lauk, and I believe the price is exorbitant considering the dishes we chose were just ordinary items you can easily find at many other restaurants for far less. Yes, it was my decision to come here again, but after this experience, I have no intention of returning. The unexpectedly high cost was deeply disappointing and left me feeling quite disheartened.

While the food quality is acceptable and the variety remains a strong point, I can’t help but feel we ended up paying more...

just eat there past few days, cold fried noodles, rendang chicken breast about half of KFC chicken breast, one small spoon of tempe, one boiled egg, and one teh o ice, i dont know whether i are too poor to eat like a traditional malay restaurant, these do cost me RM 18.50, a price i can eat a proper spaghetti that cook right after i order it, or a dinner plate of three pieces fried chicken in KFC of air conditional environment, for my condition, the food is totally not worthy, after i get my food, i do try to pay before i eat, but i ask twice, but the worker insists i eat first. this is the last time...
