Despite a Friday evening, there's surprisingly no crowd as I'd expect.
Ordered 4 dishes: • The Signature Black Sauce Pork Belly 🐽 was the highlight of our dinner. The slightly charred, less fatty meat and the sweet "Char Siew" sauce is just the perfect combo. A must-try! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • The Paper Wrapped Chicken 🐔 is infused with all Chinese herbs/spices. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Broccoli 🥦 and Deep-Fried Bean Curd: This dish would have been great if the sauce had been less salty. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Seafood Soup: The fish slices had a bit of the smelly "fish" odour, but the soup was otherwise fine. Loved how the Enoki wasn't overcooked, which made each bite so crunchy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Note that the dine-in area is at Level 2 so you'll first need to enter the restaurant from the first floor where an assortment of Souper Tang items are on sale (noodles, soup stocks, Chinese wines, etc.)

Been a while back to this restaurant. Have a simple lunch today at Souper Tang today.
The decorations still the same ..simplle and nice. Not crowded as before.. maybe due to weekday lunch hours.
Very surprised that they run out of unpolished rice in lunch hour or just a reason by the staff.
Tried few simple dishes today..
Sautéed Broccoli with beancurd, the Broccoli anf mushroom was well cooked and the deep fried beancurd was cripy and not oily.
Stir fried Beech Mushrooms with Lotus roots is amazing, well flavour and the mushroom and lotus roots is well done.
Also ordered the soups but the soup was on average maybe due the precooked soup from central kitchen.
Tried the Truffle Chicken soup and Ning Shen Remedying soup (chicken soup with Ginseng).
The overall lunch good , can have meal here once a while due to the price of the dishes. But...

We ordered one meat dish and one vegetable (茶香卤肉 上汤苋菜). The vegetable was RM29.90, and it's just the most basic vegetable ever, with a little flavoring of ginseng, which is the same from their signature soup. The meat was around 50+, very thick sauce n there is not a hint of the aroma of tea leaves even tho the menu advertised it as braised pork with tea leaf. And they charge for napkins, the audacity, after all the overpriced menu and...
