Came here to have early dinner with my family after coming out from Legoland yesterday. I ordered the Hainanese Steamed Chicken and it came out mostly bloody. I normally would’ve called over the staff but we were rushing as we wanted to quickly finish our food and head home to pray before Asr ends hence I only ate the parts that seemed okay and took a photo of the remainders which I set to the side. I later showed the photo to the cashier for them to take note of this issue and be more vigilant. However, the cashier just sarcastically smiled seemingly baffled by my complaint and simply said okay. This happened around 6pm. They gave us a code scan for the order, and then we scanned the barcode and ordered once. We ordered a set for two, which cost RM53.10. Unexpectedly, two sets for two people came out, so the order became for 4 people. The bill became RM94.30.
We protested to the staff. We showed it on our phones, and it only said RM53.10, but the restaurant staff, the only person not wearing a uniform, insisted we order twice. He blamed us for ordering twice, but on our phone it showed only once. He denied it at first. After we protested for the second time, he gave up and changed the bill back to what was on our phone. But he doesn't apologist until we leave the restaurant.
