Family of 3.
Daddy & 2 kids; 9 & 11-year olds. Stayed 12-15Nov.

BOOKING Made the reservation thru Traveloka & everything went well. We booked one Adventure Family Room w breakfast for a 4D3N Adventure trip.

GETTING THERE We drove from S’pore via Tuas Checkpoint & took about 1hr to reach with one stop in between @ Gelang Patah R&R.
If u are flying, u can come in to Senai International Airport in the state of Johor.

THE RESORT LEGOLAND Hotel is a 4-star hotel located within the LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort & is known for its themed rooms, interactive LEGO features and close proximity to the Theme Park, Water Park and the Sea Life Aquarium. Everything is LEGO here! Everytime u go in the lift, door closes, disco lights are On & the music starts! It was like a disco in the lift with the song Everything Is Awesome! The hotel had 3 restaurants; Di Mattoni Italian Restaurant, Kai’s Sushi & The Bricks, this is where we had our breakfast.

AROUND THE HOTEL There is the Mall of Medini just 3 minutes walk from the hotel. A supermarket, plenty of food outlets & gourmet coffee joints that can break the monotonous LEGO world in your head, heh! Then, there was Faaz Bistro, simply put it - Mamak. Get your fresh teh tarek here, period!
After 10pm, the supermarket is closed & u will not hv the same access from Legoland. But u can walk out thru the main road from the hotel about 10mins & there will be a 7-11 store & a small supermarket.

CHECK-IN We parked our car at B1 carpark. Those who drive EV cars, Legoland has 4 EV charging lots at B1. Check-in was fast as there was only another family who were checking in.

ROOM The Adventure rooms were on the 2nd floor & it was perfect! The kids were everywhere! The bunk beds, the big bed, the play area & they loved the kids’ TV.
All rooms have a treasure hunt slip upon checking in. Find the clues that gives u numbers, then unlock that combination to a safe in the room & u get packets of LEGO to play with!
That is truly customer service on the next level!
The AC, water heater, lights, minifridge, iron/ironing board, TV everything worked! The hotel also installed a clean drinking water tap on the kids’ sink.
This is truly celebrated! We save on plastics yet able to get clean drinking water straight from the tap in the room. Thank you!

The bed linens were of good quality. Please note the bunk bed sleeps 3. Top & bottom bed, plus a pull-out from the floor. There were also extra pillows in the cupboard. The rooms get cleaned up daily & towel changed too. But whenever I travelled, I will only clean once in between my stay. Always save a day from cleaning your towels & bed; it costs a lot & waste a lot too.

There were 2 sinks in the bathroom; beat that!! 1 for adults & 1 for kids. It came with the usual toothbrush, comb, cotton buds etc. They also had their own brand of shampoo & body wash. Hairdyer was available in the main room, under the dressing table.

The wardrobe had many hangers & 4 sets of robes; 2 for adults & 2 for kids. Bring those robes or room towels to the pool or water park. They don’t hv park towels or pool towels. They also had room slippers; 2 for adults & 2 for kids. This was the only thing free u can take home. Everything else has a price to it.

BREAKFAST Breakfast was like a King! Full of variety we were not able to eat more. You are guaranteed to be spoilt for choices.

OTHERS Parking was free but u hv to validate the parking slip at reception; otherwise u hv to pay at the gantry. There will be a 15min grace to get ur car out after that validation. Security was 24-hour & good to see them late at night.

STAFF I must commend the staff for making our stay a pleasant one; very attentive, adequately-trained & very customer-oriented. Special mention to Mr Shah, Duty Manager. Thank you for the service recovery, guests feel valued by the way he handled our situation.
Kudos & keep up the excellent work!

Overall, it was an excellent stay! After all the theme park rides & swim, I felt relaxed coming back to the hotel. Thank you Legoland Malaysia for making our stay a...

I stayed at legoland hotel for 2 nights with my wife and 2 kids under 7. Hands down best hotel for families for these reasons:

Caters to dietary requirements - my daughter has many food allergies and finding food for her was one of my top worries when going on holiday. Legoland hotel put everything at ease for me. Once I informed them of her allergies, they brought out the chef (Chef Daniel) who discussed with us what food she likes and helped plan out meals for her. He personally cooked the meals during our stay, cooking vegan pancakes for breakfast, fried rice got lunch and spaghetti for dinner which were my daughter's favourite dishes. Chef Daniel would come to check on her to see if she liked the food and would add/change ingredients as needed (my daughter didn't like capsicum, so he removed it the next day). it felt like my daughter has a personal Chef!

Rooms - spectacular and great value for money. you don't often get a room that can fit 5 beds for this price. All rooms have a master room and a separate room for the bunk beds. the bunk bed room has its own TV, lego sets to play with and a secret treasure for the kids to find. We picked the ninjago themed room and my kids loved every piece of ninjago lego and wallpaper in the room. the bathrooms were spacious, showers big enough to fit an adult and 2 kids (which is important when trying to shower young kids). 2 sinks with one suitable for kids. bath robes which was really useful when going to the waterpark.

location - great location. firstly to the theme park and waterpark, it is literally right next door (you can see it from the rooms or pool area). as a legoland hotel occupant, you can enter and reenter the theme park and water park which is handy if you left something behind in your hotel room. secondly location in Malaysia. it is a stones throw away from Singapore. about 30min from the border of malaysia to Singapore. so those that are travelling to singapore, this makes an affordable and fun side trip to get a hired car to drive you to legoland for a couple days before coming back to Singapore.

Hotel - service was amazing. everyone was friendly and attentative, from the concierge staff who would walk up to take our luggage, to the front desk, to the restaurant staff (another shout out to Chef Daniel). the lobby area has a large play area for the kids which was awesome as they could play there while we waiting for our meals to arrive. the hotel also runs daily activities (life-size lego people walking around, balloon making, lego building) which the kids enjoyed.

Swimming pool was also really good. there was a 1.2m pool and a 0.7m pool for the kiddies (with lego!) perfect for my daughter. they even provided life vests for her to jump into the big pool. they provide towels too and plenty of shade under the pool.

Restaurant food was delicious. buffet breakfast has a whole range of options western, Indian, Chinese etc. with allergens clearly identified.

To sum up I highly recommend going to legoland malaysia hotel whether you are on holiday to malaysia or if you are in singapore. the kids will love it, and if they like lego they will love it even more. They did not want to leave. thanks Legoland...

RE: Great Stay

Check in process. It’s fast and we could get our room once we arrived in the hotel. Ms. Ain was helping us with process and gave us a good experience for our first time stay in Legoland Resort. if you have enough budget for your staying, I strongly recommend to stay in this hotel for easier access to Legoland. But if you are having a limited budget, there’s a apartment around Medini that very near with Legoland Theme Park, Sealife n Waterpark.

Waterpark Waterpark in Legoland closed every Tuesday. You can bring your own towel but not Hotel Towel if you stay in Legoland Resort. You also can rent the towel. Waterpark is clean, fun, n big. in their lazy river, there’s so many lego, so the kids can swim n play lego as well.

Sealife It’s Aircon room, good for you to avoid the sun heat during the day. But it’s small, so 30-45 minutes, you can finish the tour. My kids like to paint the sea creatures, coz after they finish painting, the sea creatures that they paint will appear in the big screen like aquarium. it’s so fun.

Legoland Resort has access to/connected to Medini Mall. There’s more choices of food-BK, KFC, Starbuck, Chicken Rice, Supermarket, Playground 🛝)

Legoland resorts also have event in the hotel. you can check with hotel staff about the timing.

the nice thing, they provide plenty of lego in the lobby, so kids can play lego when parents go check in/out.

For breakfast in Legoland Resort, they provide a lot of food choices and of course with lego theme. I noticed they also provide teh tarik. from my experiences, only this hotel provides a real teh tarik.

Room Nice decoration, and our room view iwas facing Waterpark and Legoland hills (601). It’s amazing views. however they need to do something about carpet smell. The toilet also have kids and adults sink. They need to make the shower wire longer for easier to wash the kids. The room also has complete amenities. the special thing from this Resort, they provide drinking water tap 🚰 in the toilet. They also give free lego if you and your kids can solve the puzzle.

Theme Park, Sealife and Waterpark. Please take a note that there’s NO wifi connection in the Theme Park, Sealife and Waterpark area, only in hotel. Even in the restaurant in Theme Park area, they’re no Wifi 🛜. If you’re foreigner, you can’t have connection/upload your trip straight away.

Generally, it’s fun place to go for holiday. From my experience, 2D1N is more than sufficient...

One of the Worst Hotel Stays – Filthy, Ant-Infested, and Not Worth the Price or Stress We booked one night at the Legoland Hotel Malaysia expecting a fun and memorable stay for our family, but the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The first issue was the scavenger hunt “treasure box,” which had no prize inside. For a child who worked hard to solve the clues, this was a big letdown and we had to ask reception to get what should have been included. Things got worse when, after a long day, we returned to our room and discovered ants crawling all over the walls near the bunk bed—exactly where children are meant to sleep. At first, staff refused to move us and suggested only sending housekeeping, who wouldn’t have been able to do anything about an infestation. We even considered leaving for Singapore that night with our six-year-old, who was already in pajamas, but eventually reception agreed to relocate us. The second room we were given had such a strong mold smell that even my brother-in-law, who rarely notices odors, was uncomfortable. The bellhop actually suggested spraying perfume to cover it, which was unacceptable. Only after the night manager, Zaiton, came up and immediately acknowledged the smell did they agree to move us again. The third room, while better, was still far below any reasonable standard for the price we paid—over $360 USD for a single night. The bedding had stains and hair, there were food and grease marks on the walls, furniture, and carpet, and the lower bunk bed frame was breaking and unsafe for children. We only stayed because at that point we had no other choice. The night manager had promised that the hotel manager would reach out to us the next morning, but no one did and we had to go find him ourselves. He eventually visited our room, provided a partial refund, and said he would escalate the issues with pest control and staff training. On top of everything else, the breakfast setup was inconvenient because the hotel restaurant was closed for renovations, requiring us to go into the park and take a buggy just to eat. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I came from the U.S. to visit family in Singapore and wanted this to be a special trip, but instead it was stressful, unsanitary, and incredibly disappointing. Don’t be fooled by the photos or positive reviews—the hotel is poorly maintained, overpriced, and not worth the risk of ruining a family vacation.

Themed room makes for a fun experience. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. You enter the hotel lobby to giant lego buildings with moats of Lego to play with. This could keep anyone entertained for hours. There are also usb and plug charging stations near the entry. We arrived earlier than check in and they stored our bags for later, which they then brought up to our room once checked in. Upon booking, we had a message that the pool was out of service until August 27th, so we booked our stay for August 29th to 30th. The pool was still out of service which was quite dissapointing. The toilets in the lobby were horrid. Crowded and messy/dirty for 9.30am. We chose to avoid these for our stay. The room itself (Premium Pirate) was very cool to look at. There was a secret code to crack for a lego themed prize in the safe, duplo to play with, tvs in adult and childrens quarters (though the childrens didn't work at first so we had to reset the tv and search for the channels as they just wanted to relax after a day exploring the theme park) There are robes for use in the room and slippers. They also have a price list, so if you decide to take something belonging to the room, you know how much you will be billed (robes included) Toiletries were provided in cute Legoland packaging. Upon deeper inspection though, the room was extremely unclean. The curtains and quilt cover had stains, the fridge cupboard had a sus looking splatter on it, the bathroom needed a good scrub and maybe a resilicone as the silicone was moulding. For tea, we wanted to utilise Kai's Sushi Bar, but unfortunately not anything our picky son would eat (he loves sushi, but there is not a big menu, this is probably more for the adults), so we went into Bricks for the buffet. Lots to choose from in here, including pasta, seafood, cakes and ice cream as well as some Asian dishes, plus the table cloth doubles as a colouring page. For breakfast, we had the included breakfast buffet, also at Bricks. Kids smashed the pancakes and toast, while us adults got to try some new things. Overall, I would like to stay again and hope the cleanliness issue is sorted. It was really fun to stay in a themed room and the kids had a ball.
